A pleasant and peaceful stay in Amsterdam

My wife and I spent 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Amsterdam, next to a water canal, so the surroundings are scenic and pleasing to the eye in the morning and evening. The design of the hotel is contemporary, modern, and tastefully minimalist. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and tidy. The hotel offers breakfast, and while the selection is not abundant, the quality is acceptable. An important fact is that pets are allowed at this hotel. However, the acoustic comfort here is only average. In the evening, you can have a fun time in the hotel lobby playing billiards or foosball, having a glass of cocktail, or grabbing a bite to eat. It is a suitable place for those looking for peace after a day in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Attractive waterside location and easily accessible from Centraal Station using the 48 bus to Koivistokade (although there seemed to be nowhere to buy tickets for the return journey). Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-equipped. The only problem I encountered was a system error relating to add-ons to the booking. Shortly before the stay I received a message offering a range of extras and chose the buffet breakfast but this request was not registered and I had to re-book breakfast on arrival with the help of the front desk staff. Around 10 hours after I checked out I received a further message stating " Breakfast Buffet is not available in the chosen set-up ".

On the Amsterdam docks.

Original restaurant and bar with a view of the docks. Nice decor and tasty breakfast.

Excellent find, really cool and interesting hotel, big beatiful rooms. Only small issue is the location, does require a car to get there especially if you're with big luggage. The hotel itself is just bríllliant!
