Well located for Basel Tattoo

Stayed here as a couple for the Basel Tattoo on the last night - hotel is well located , rooms lovely , had a terrace only thing overlooking run down gardens apartments - but assume this can’t be helped.
Bruno at reception was very helpful - managed checkin, gave clear instructions on how to get to Kaserne and spoke perfect English which is always appreciated. Staff at the restaurant were attentive, welcoming and food was fantastic had breakfast and dinner. Parking is at the hotel. Will def be back.

Comfortable stay and friendly staff

We had a lovely stay at this hotel when visiting for the Xmas Market. Friendly and welcoming staff who gave us plenty of useful information about the city. Our bedroom was roomy, clean and very quiet despite facing the road. We didn’t eat in the hotel although there is a nice eating area but we did sit and have a drink in the seating area. It is situated on the other side of the river to the old town but it is was easy to walk there and the tram stops just outside if you want to use that. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay again if we return to Basel.

Nothing memorable

Nothing exceptional in this 4-star hotel, room for improvement for sure.... Its asset: its location. Friendly welcome from Etienne at check-in, as well as Flávio and his colleague at the bar on Monday 7/13/26. Room 616 cleaning perfect for two days then the bare minimum.... Room with terrace: the furniture is rudimentary and extremely dirty to put it politely. I had to clean the table and the uncomfortable chairs on top of that!. Get a garden-side room. Satisfactory breakfast: thanks to Karolin and Mémita.

Very good address

Hotel very well located for reaching the Beyeler Museum. Tram across the street and free with the transport card provided by the hotel.
Breakfast buffet of good quality.

Fabulous hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night while travelling back to London. It's a fabulous hotel with excellent service throughout our stay.
The reception staff were particularly outstanding - friendly, welcoming and happy to recommend places to visit during our time there, which we really appreciated. Our room was extremely comfortable, and we had a fantastic night's sleep.
The room service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the future.
