Ideal for your days

At first we had doubts, but not at all. Very central and no noise
We loved it, everything clean, enough to spend a few days, that I could take my dog I stopped magnificent for putting a but I would add a small oven and Italian coffee maker

Easy, convenient, without fault

I'd stayed at the suites (ground floor) previously and for this trip I was travelling with my sister and brother in law and there was only one room at the suites available so I decided to book a room at the studios for them as I perfectly happy with the location, amenities and price on our first visit.
They were really pleased with the room, the location and the little kitchenette.
Great place to explore the city from, with everything you could need available at the apartments, including a coffee machine in the communal kitchen, which we did actually use this time. Check in was a breeze, friendly and efficient.
Second visit to the suites/studios and would happily return for a third.

Comfortable, Safe Environment, Reasonably Priced

A friend suggested that I stay here while exploring Lisbon. I am in a standard studio which is comfortable for one or two people.
From the square below it is exactly 100 stairs and some additional incline to get here but it is worth the exercise!! The Studios are in a neighborhood so you have a very different environment from staying in a hotel. It is safe and very pleasant for someone like me who is traveling alone. The owner was helpful in suggesting a superb place for breakfast/lunch. She will also recommend places for dinner. There are little restaurants and shops on the side streets so you will not go hungry! . I took the number 1 bus in from the airport to Rossio Square and then a taxi from Rossio Square to Rossio Studios. It is somewhat confusing ( if you don't speak Portuguese) so would suggest the taxi for the first time..especially with suitcases. It was less than 5 EU for the taxi. Once settled Joana will give you good directions to get from here to the square below for buses, taxis, hotel, restaurants, shops. Very very pleasant!

Enjoyed My Stay in this Friendly Neighbourhood

Rossio Studios are in a great location, close to shopping, metro, buses, taxis, and attractions of the old city. The neighbourhood is multi-cultural. Some might consider it unkept, but many parts of Lisbon look unkept as well. The people were warm and friendly and even invited me to join them to watch the soccer match between Portugal and France, which was an amazing experience. The apartment itself is located in a very hilly area, so people with mobility concerns should take a cab, arrive by car, or be prepared to maneuver the hilly streets. The apartment was bright, spotless and well-equipped. I've slept on better mattresses, but it was okay. The quality of the mattress holds me back from giving the apartment a 5/5. The bathroom was compact with lots of room in the shower. Joao was excellent at explaining everything in English and even helped me on some practical Portuguese words to know. Rather than carry the key with you, the apartment key could be stored in a safe box just outside the apartment door, with your own choosing for the code. This was very convenient. There is no elevator. I would definitely stay here again.

We will surely be back

Clean, proper,,,good value for your money, and a nice host.
This small cosy flat-for-a-week is higly reccomandable.
Placed in a little street just 2 minutes walk from the big square
And you are passing one of Lissabons finest fish-restaurants on your way to the square... USE it !
