Dinner with a view
Great location. Modern decor with the most comfortable beds. Great breakfast buffet with amazing roof top views. Dinner was delicious (loved the greek salad!) Complementary anniversary dessert was so special!

Updated review - how you respond to issues is what really matters
This is my updated post after writing a somewhat negative review following our first night stay because it is all about how you respond to feedback and in this case they responded appropriately and swiftly. Thank you to Alina the front desk manager who changed our room the second I raised our concern the next morning. Do make sure when you check in that you try to get a higher floor or one that is not facing the noisy restaurant. We were originally in room 223. A great suite but sadly right above a VERY noisy restaurant that we could hear bottles being thrown into the trash can until very early into the morning. I woke up went downstairs and was moved immediately to another suite with a balcony. They sent us some sweets to apologize. Very appropriate and much appreciated. The hotel is lovely - furniture a little dated but the staff is fantastic. We had an issue with my husband taking a spill off property and not knowing what to do, I eventually called the hotel who arranged a taxi and assistance of a private doctor to stitch his wound. They really truly turned our experience around so thank you.

LUXURY HOTEL IN THE HEART OF ATHENS
Beautiful luxury class hotel right in the heart of Athens. Perfect location for the prime sights and old town of Athens. Lots of restaurants nearby, tons of shopping and things to see. Our suite was very well appointed, air conditioned with an exceptional bathroom, shower, huge bath, bidet dual sinks and toilet. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a clear close view of the Acropolis. There is a small roof top pool and loungers which is very nice but can be very busy all day long. I would definitely stay at the Electra Metropolis in Athens in the future.

Fantastic hotel
The Electra Metropolis hotel on Athens is everything you would expect and hope for from a 5 star hotel. All staff are professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The restaurant on the 10th floor has amazing views of the Parthenon and an amazing breakfast buffet. The 10th floor pool area is also gorgeous, with a refreshingly cold pool. The hotel is in a great location within Athens, an easy walk to both Placa and the Acropolis. Highly recommend.

One of the most beautiful views of the Acropolis from the amazing roof top lounge and restaurant and beautiful pool area. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Hotel was clean and new. Our room was ready upon early arrival from an international flight. Fantastic lounge in reception is perfect place to take a break from walking around to get out of the heat. Comfortable room. Breakfast buffet on the roof with endless options. Rooftop bar and pool perfect way to enjoy late afternoon after touring area before heading back out to nearby restaurants. Would recommend to anyone and well worth the price.
