Great hotel and location

First time staying at this hotel, short walk to the old town and the beaches through the beautiful parks. Rooms older design but well maintained. Great pool, free water which was great and nice views!

Do not trust photos Or the Reviews! - Go somewhere else

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I genuinely don't understand how this hotel has a 4-star rating.
The air conditioning barely worked during a very hot period, making the rooms unbearable and leaving my family exhausted throughout the holiday. Despite reporting it twice, reception simply said they were aware of the issue with no solution or update.
The lifts are far too small and slow for a hotel of this size, and on an occasion morning staff made loud noise moving trolleys and slamming metal gates above our room.
On two separate occasions staff just walked into my room without knocking, one at around 7am, just apologized and quickly closed the door behind them, this is simply outrageous, and caused me a major concern with security for me and my entire family.
Somehow after our room was cleaned someone must have also misplaced my daughter's sentimental toy, which stayed in her room. Reception checked but the cleaning staff hadn't seen it and couldn't even provide contact details for the off-site laundry company.
The hotel also advertises inconsistent room standards. One room had a modern smart TV while the other had an outdated TV. My request to change rooms was refused despite rooms appearing to be available online. The beds were squeaky, the pool was dirty, and the sun loungers felt unsafe, with people tipping backwards.
They also have no internal shop or the ability to buy any snacks, drinks, basic medicine, hygiene items etc a simple vending machine would have been very helpful, especially when you have children with you.
On departure, reception promised the manager would email me about these issues, but I never received anything.
We spent a lot of money on this holiday, and the hotel experience completely ruined what should have been a relaxing family break.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others should be aware. I won't stay at this Novotel hotels again, and I would recommend families to consider other options.

Some of the staff are not very friendly. Pool amenities are poorly maintained. Spacious and clean room. Overall below what you should reasonably expect from this brand.

a good hotel to sleep

a good hotel to stay overnight as it takes around 20 minutes to get to the beach and 30 minutes to walk to some attractions in the city centre. the room is rather clean, but air-conditioning produces noise. but I was so tired that it didn't prevent me from sleeping tight...the only remark is that the parking space near the hotel is very limited, just for 5-6 cars, but there's parking opposite the hotel,though not free of charge...

Our stay was unfortunately not particularly comfortable and did not meet the standard expected from a 4-star hotel.In the evening after checking, we noticed several stains on the bathroom door and frame, as if a drink had been sprayed over them. I showed photos to reception, and they arranged for the area to be cleaned more thoroughly. The day after, we found a silverfish-like insect in the bathroom, which raised further concerns about cleanliness.The housekeeping, kitchen and reception staff were friendly and polite. However, the reception staff did not speak English fluently, which made communication difficult, especially at a hotel serving international guests.Breakfast was very disappointing. Every morning, we experienced queues because the food and cooking equipment were placed in a very cramped area. Guests had to boil or fry their own eggs, which did not feel appropriate for a four-star hotel. Containers for bread and other items were also empty several times. Although the kitchen staff were pleasant, the breakfast arrangement felt more like an Airbnb than a four-star hotel.The television reception was also very poor during the football matches, and restarting the TV did not solve the problem.Overall, although the staff were pleasant, the cleanliness, breakfast arrangement, missing food items, communication difficulties and unreliable TV signal made the stay disappointing. Based on our experience, the hotel did not reflect a 4 -star standard. but barely 1-2.
