A magnificent qualitative experience.
Very sincerely a great hotel. Certainly not very pretty. Certainly not necessarily an attractive appearance. But the place is quiet and the comfort of the rooms is perfect. Nothing to say about the very comfortable bed, nothing to say about the shower room. A sound system at the top and shutters at the bedroom window, quite what suits me.
What to say about the breakfast which was beautiful, a wide choice of various products.
And, icing on the cake, the kindness and friendliness of the staff.
Special mention to Antony, receptionist. I'm 55 years old, I've never seen a receptionist so competent, so responsive, such an incredible kindness. I asked him several questions by email before I arrived, he always answered me with incredible details. It replaced the tourist office, I might say humorously. Thank you Anthony and good luck to you.
If we have to find a small negative, I would just say the size of the breakfast room. Because if by chance all the guests of the rooms arrive at the same time, there must be a shortage of space!

Don't stay hear it like a broom cupboard see pictures
Well I start with what's good about this hotel! it is clean,staff are nice and the location, that's it!
Now for the bad and I mean bad news.
The lift is so small only 2 people can fit in it ,thats it !!the room is so small I like to ask them if they ever stay in there rooms. functions like shower ect for 2 as u sit on the loo with towels hanging round ur head .the shower never had a bracket so had to hold shower head.one day it rained all daybut therefore no hooks to hang wet clothes up. we had to live out of our suit case and in evening put suitcases in by the door,for storage! this is a fire hazard ur b better off going to a ibis.
Now for the bad and I mean bad news.

Nos chambres, dont les superficies sont indiquées lors de la réservation, sont conçues pour offrir un hébergement fonctionnel en centre-ville, mais nous comprenons parfaitement qu'elles puissent sembler trop petites pour certains voyageurs.
nous proposons également des chambres Confort, plus spacieuses, pour un supplément très modéré de seulement 5 à 10 € selon la période. Cette option offre davantage d'espace et peut correspondre davantage aux attentes de certains de nos clients.
Concernant la douche, nous regrettons ce dysfonctionnement du support de pommeau, qui aurait dû être signalé à notre équipe technique avant votre arrivée. Une intervention a été effectuée très rapidement. Nous prenons également note de votre remarque concernant le manque d'espaces de rangement et de crochets, qui nous aide à identifier des pistes d'amélioration.
Enfin, nous tenons à vous rassurer sur le fait que notre établissement respecte strictement toutes les normes de sécurité en vigueur.
Nous espérons sincèrement que vous ne resterez pas sur cette impression mitigée et que vous nous accorderez une nouvelle chance lors d'un prochain séjour à Lyon. Serious Access Problems – Extremely Difficult Arrival by Car
We arrived late at night in heavy rain while travelling with my disabled mother. Google Maps directs you to the hotel, but the road is blocked by an official “no entry” sign. There is no clear information explaining how guests are supposed to legally reach the entrance.
The hotel mentioned having special permission, but as a driver I could not ignore a traffic sign and risk a fine. Another possible access route is controlled by retractable bollards requiring a remote control, which was not provided.
Parking is located about 1 km away, with no covered or accessible path to the hotel. For a disabled guest, especially at night and in bad weather, this is not realistic.
We were unable to check in and had to find another hotel. The property refused to issue a refund.
Guests with mobility limitations should clarify access conditions before booking.

While traffic restrictions apply, guests are allowed to stop in front of the hotel to unload their luggage.
In addition, we have two parking spaces directly in front of the hotel, reserved exclusively for our guests. Clear signage indicates that these spaces are prohibited to other vehicles but remain accessible for hotel customers. During your phone call, our receptionist specifically invited you to stop at one of these reserved spaces so that you could comfortably unload your luggage before parking your vehicle. Unfortunately, this solution was declined.

Comfortable hotel, great location
This hotel on the peninsula is ideally located in front of the tram stop T1 (part Dieu, Musée des confluences) and T2, and close to Perrache station and the metro. Our room and bathroom were much bigger than I thought. The breakfast buffet, hearty and good, friendly receptionists and wifi worked very well. Lyon restaurants are nearby. This hotel has a terrace and garden which must be very pleasant on sunny days.
