Lovely, cosy, and affordable place from which to explore the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
Ruby is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Ken, Hung, and the reception staff are all always happy to assist with various things and are very likeable, helping to make my experience here in Ho Chi Minh City seamless and enjoyable. The hotel is surrounded by not only plenty of restaurants, bars and shops but everything else you may need: from Vietcommbank to a big market just down the street and Samzone nearby (if you need a SIM card) et cetera. I recommend this hotel without hesitation!

We had a very poor experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were given a room that sounded as if it was directly above a karaoke bar. The noise was extreme and completely unbearable. We immediately asked for a quieter room, but the staff refused to help and were dismissive. When we asked again, staff members actually laughed at us, which we found very unprofessional and disrespectful.
We were later moved to the 7th floor, only to discover that the elevator does not go there, so you have to use the stairs. Even worse, the noise was still clearly audible.
Cleanliness was also an issue: we found dirty hairs in the bathroom and even one on the pillow. On top of that, there were frequent power cuts and very poor water pressure in the shower.
What makes this especially frustrating is that staff openly acknowledged that there is a serious noise problem, but they were unwilling to do anything about it.
Unless you are only choosing this hotel because of the low price and are willing to accept noise, poor service, and hygiene issues, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. There are also no windows in the rooms. This hotel was a very disappointing end to an otherwise good trip.

They’re too many no
This hotel is not luxury that’s a lie, the location is great plenty shops and food around my room
Was on 3rd floor need elevator, the gave me an actual old school key to open my room door, in 2025?? In rooms have no EMG phone if it should occur. The towels are very thinner than normal size, you only get one soft pillow, bed is hard like ROCK !!bathroom is super tiny if your over 175lb you cannot fit, every thing in the bathroom are small door can barely open. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this hotel

Stay away from this place!!!! Absolute scam
Me and my wife booked a stay at the ruby hotel we knew from the price it was not going to be amazing but at least we were hoping for a working door lock on our room the door looked like it had been kicked in at some point. The room was terrible with a smell of mould with obvious water damage looks nothing like the photos in the description.we thought they made a mistake and gave us the wrong room. I think it's a scam cause we had to pay out of pocket for a upgrade that was as bad as the room we were in
