Before you look at anywhere else to stay, you need to consider this hotel. The only place for me.
In Addition to the review I left earlier on, I have just finished my breakfast Anna (F&B) made up for me this morning, as I left before the main breakfast service began. Being greeted by Anna, with her warm smile and pleasant manner, was a really nice way to start the day.
The food as always was of the highest quality and the service was as I've come to expect.
Your morning starts with a very warm "Good Morning, I hope you slept well" which in some hotels is a pretty standard greeting but here, it felt like a genuine greeting and enquiry not just part of the service, Anna and her team were polite, friendly, professional and it really did feel caring, no conversation was rushed and always greeted with a smile.
When I sat on the train with my breakfast, I opened it to find not just my breakfast and extra fruit and a cake, with a lovely card in there wishing me a safe journey home.
I will remember my stay here and will return when back in Leeds. I honestly can't think of a better hotel I've stayed in. You are made to feel special, not just a paying guest.
I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff really made my stay. From the domestic staff right up to the management, everyone had time to talk.
Reading other reviews, yes there can be queues at checkin, but when the hotel and its service is this good, it wouldn't matter how many staff they had on the desk or even if the desk was double the size, people return to places they know will treat you right. The queue went down as quickly as it formed. When the staff are making sure you have everything you need or want, it will take a little longer. But being made to feel welcome from the moment you check-in l, is absolutely worth a little longer in a queue, not that I had to wait long at all, even at its busiest times the staff cleared the queue quickly and still had tim to make sure you were happy.

I was prevented from entering the hotel late at night by security (as a.paying guest) and when I was allowed to renter I complained to the night manager who told me to ‘go to bed’; he refused to identify himself when asked. Utterly disgraceful behaviour from your staff. I’m disgusted.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room was lovely. Beds so comfortable. Awesome shower. Breakfast was relaxing and good selection. Tasty and filling. Highly rate security at hotel when returning from night out. Felt secure. Will definitely be returning.

Was initially put in a room on the 9th floor and at my request staff kindly moved me to a lower floor - they were very accommodating. Unfortunately the room I was moved to had stains on the bed so I was then moved to a different room that was even more dirty however at this point it was late at night and I had to be up early the next day so decided to make do. Staff were helpful but the hotel itself was substandard. There were signs saying a refurb is being planned so I wouldn’t stay again until this was done.

Room was clean but could do with being upgraded…can see that the hotel is in the process of being upgraded. Entrance, lobby, bar and restaurant areas all looked lovely and modern, however, once you enter the lifts you can tell everything is older and looking very tired.
Room was spacious, but basic, it was adequate for our needs and fairly priced. Not too far from the town Center or train station along with other shopping areas. Over all it was a good stay, easy to check in and out too!
