Check-in can be slow but to be fair it may not be related to the person. It I likely the system used having the biggest influence on check-in efficiency. Parking is excellent and location is great for a business trip

For a stopover...

... we needed a hotel close to our destination with parking. In our search, we came across the Moxy Düsseldorf South.
The price was acceptable for us, so we booked two double rooms for single use. The booking through the hotel website was straightforward and completed quickly. Even phone inquiries were handled very kindly and well.
A few days before our arrival, we received an email regarding our booking. Unfortunately, it was completely written in English and, with my school English skills, only understandable to the extent that it likely contained information about our stay. Unfortunately, it was also not possible to make an inquiry, as the response from a regular email address stated that it is not available for inquiries (again in English). At the hotel, we were then informed that the email has no further significance – it is simply information about our stay. There is no German version available, as it is an American operating company. The email initially caused some uncertainty.
Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly, and our rooms were available as requested on the quiet side. The check-in was completed quickly, and we were able to go directly to our rooms.
The rooms are up to current standards with sufficient space even beside the bed. Unfortunately, they are very sparsely furnished. A good option in the form of a shelf or closet for clothing is missing. Only a rudimentary type of wardrobe with four or five hooks is available. This was not a problem for us, as we did not unpack our suitcase for just one night.
Another drawback is that the window could only be opened with the tilt function, even upon request.
The note that one could do a lot together for environmental/climate protection also seems somewhat strange. For this reason, the rooms are only cleaned after a certain period and not daily. But are cardboard cups available in the bathroom as toothbrush cups?
The rooms and the entire hotel were clean and well-maintained.
The booked parking space behind the building is adequate in size and access. However, the price of €20 per night is not a bargain for a paved outdoor space without significant security.
Breakfast is offered in buffet form and is extensive and well-organized. Everything offered was fresh and was continually replenished. It was a very good decision to book the breakfast.
Overall, the hotel is recommendable.

Very good

Overall very good. Price wise a very good option with the tram a two minute the walk from the entrance with regular departures to central Dusseldorf. After checking in and making my way to the lifts I returned to reception to ask for some water. At this point I was then offered the complimentary drink. Not too happy as the drink was never offered at checkin and only happened due to me returning seconds later and asking for a drink.

Nice staff and great hotel

On arrival parked behind the hotel, 20 euros per day. Were kindly welcomed and got a bottle of wine free, nice start so. Hotel is very short distance from the Metro (u-bahn) you are in town with 15 min. The room was fine, industrial in the style of Moxy. Breakfast we found a bit disappointing (missed fresh orange juice and fried eggs or scrambled eggs oid) but a cheaper alternative than in the center so fine for a night. Downstairs in the lobby you can get drinks for the room and possibly some food.
