Great location

Very clean and comfortable hotel in a good location for public transport. Room a decent size, shower room cosy but functional. Breakfast quite adequate with a reasonable choice and decent coffee. Hot drinks available in Reception until 7pm. Friendly and helpful staff. Would certainly stay again.

Good location, average stay

Stayed 2 nights for a short city break. The hotel is close to alexanderplatz which makes getting around Berlin easy. The breakfast was solid and the room clean. However, everything is quite compact, small room, small bathroom and the place shows its age. Some noise from the street as well. For the price its okay, but don't expect anything special.

Good location.

This is a fairly basic hotel but it is fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had a curtain rather than screen which, personally, I don't like. Breakfast was ok and staff were friendly. The location is good - about a mile to Alexanderplatz. There is a Mediterranean restaurant next door (which I liked) and a steak house less than half a mile away.

No lift.. disappointing hotel

Attended for a 3 night stay over the weekend.
We arrived mid morning and were told at reception that rooms wernt ready until 2pm. Understandable so we left our cases in a back room.
The lady on reception looked like we were an inconvienience by turning up...
When we called back i was given a room on the 1st floor.
When i asked for the lifts...was told there were none.
Our room was up two flights of stairs...
There are upper floors ....
When we got to our room the door was open and a staff member was sitting at our desk on her mobile phone
The room overlooked an inner courtyard where kids played and were noisey.
The room was very basic and poor quality curtains furniture etc. The room did have a safety deposit box and got wifi cover.
The ensuite was large... but shower was spluttering..
The bed slanted.
Breakfast was included but very basic. Hot drinks are from a machine.. but you dont get english breakfast tea there.
This hotel is not suited for anyone with disabilities.
One good point was that it was opposite a tram stop.

bad assistant manager

I stayed over there for couple of nights last week, the people are helpful though however I was terribly shocked by the behavior of one particular person they call him Tich named as the assistant manager as he had some tendancy of high flirting level if I don't want to say more! Not to generalize but that was my experience over there.
