Comfortable stay in Berlin
Really enjoyed my 4 nights here - felt like staying in a Guest house - it very comfortable and the Reception staff were helpful. I believe there are different classes of rooms - but I stayed in one of the standard Double rooms and it was fine. The rooms aren’t enormous- but they are more than adequate- as was the bathroom -with great water pressure in the shower! The guest kitchen has drinks and snacks that guests can purchase- very handy. Apparently there is a washer/dryer that guests can use. Good location- lots of local restaurants and hop on hop off bus / public transport nearby. Would stay again.

You shouldn’t live at this hotel when it’s hot outside because the don’t have any AC. The room was extremely warm and it was impossible to sleep. The breakfast was also not good. For a 4 star hotel it should be much better breakfast. This felt more like an hostel breakfast. I would unfortunately not recommend this hotel.

Although it is a chain hotel, a thousand miles from a chain hotel
I've never felt better in a hotel.
Quiet and cozy atmosphere, rooms and common areas with crazy charm. Very comfortable, kettle, coffee machine with automatic replacement of what was used. Yeah, good.
The food and drink system available is excellent from every point of view. Its use and payment very easy, allowing to be totally independent. The quality of the products is there.
Discreet and competent staff.
In short, a dream holiday.
You can always peck on the marks on the paint and the parquet that cracks, but for me, it's part of the charm!

A house with character, charm and genuine warmth
Hotel Henri in Berlin is a place that immediately unfolds its own atmosphere.
As soon as you arrive, you can feel this special charm, reminiscent of a fashionable Berlin of decades past – perhaps a touch of the 20s, perhaps the 50s – while integrating the comforts of the present as a matter of course.
I stayed there two nights: the first for two, the second alone, for work reasons. The change was coordinated in advance and was accompanied by the team on site absolutely uncomplicated and attentive. This self-evident approach makes a lot of difference and shapes the entire stay.
What makes this house special is its individuality. The rooms – from the room to the reception to the bar and breakfast area – are designed with great flair. Nothing seems interchangeable. Instead, a harmonious, warm atmosphere is created that immediately gives a sense of arrival.
The location in the immediate vicinity of Ku’damm underscores this feeling once again. You move through the city and return to a place that combines peace and character.
Breakfast is a real highlight: lovingly arranged, with many small delicacies that go beyond the usual. You can see that it is not simply a buffet that is offered here, but a deliberately designed start to the day.
Even the bar in the evening fits perfectly into this picture. Cosy, atmospheric, a place where you like to stay a moment longer.
And then there are these small, winking details in the house – such as the smallest museum in town. It is precisely such discoveries that make your stay special.
What really remains in the end is the warmth of the team. Friendly, helpful, attentive – without ever appearing put on.

VERY COMFORTABLE, GREAT VALUE
This is a good value hotel in a great location.
The prices are very good for what you get - a pleasant room in an old property with antique furniture.
Breakfast is very good and served in a generous space. Rooms have WiFi, flat screen TVs, good sized fridge, kettle and coffee machine.
Pillows were a bit flat, the bathroom was small (but well maintained) and there were no British TV channels. If we are being very picky, a toaster at breakfast would have been a good addition.
At the prices charged, though, we felt we were getting a very good deal.
The reception staff (Michael in particular) were very helpful.
This is a good place to stay. The nearest U station has limited lines, but walk 11 minutes to Zoologischer Garten station and you have a choice of well connected U and S lines.
