Located in Downtown Cancun, a neighborhood in Cancun, IXUM is in the entertainment district. Mercado 28 and Puerto Cancun Marina Town Center are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Playa Tortugas and Langosta Beach. Forum Beach and La Isla Shopping Mall are two other places to visit that come recommended. Along with an outdoor pool, this hotel has a restaurant and coffee/tea in a common area. Other amenities include a garden and a communal living room. IXUM offers 5 air-conditioned accommodations with private pools and safes. Accommodations offer separate sitting areas and include desks. Beds feature premium bedding. 50-inch flat-screen televisions come with cable channels. Bathrooms include showers and hair dryers. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Housekeeping is provided daily. Recreational amenities at the hotel include an outdoor pool.

Amazing Solo Trip
Ixum is a new 4 room boutique hotel with an incredible owner, staff, restaurant, vibe and aesthetic. The hotel is downtown Cancun on Av Nader, close to the bus station and a ton of amazing restaurants. The hotel is clean, new, modern and spacious.
I arrived for check in on a Friday. I caught the ADO bus from the airport and walked from the central bus station. Check in was seamless, The girl working the desk showed me to my room and gave me a little tour. I stayed in a suite. It was two rooms, a living room and the bedroom. The bedroom had a king size bed with super comfortable bedding. I had an incredible sleep the whole time I was there and felt incredibly well rested by the time I left.
The shower was great, air conditioning worked perfect when I needed it and the staff keeps the rooms and property very clean. The room opened into a back courtyard where I spent a lot of my trip reading in a hammock or lounging by the cute little pool. Something to note is that the main gate closes at 11 I believe. I was in early this trip but if you plan to party or stay out late you just need to coordinate with the hotel how to get back in after late.
There's live music some nights and I heard that the restaurant was really good I wish I found time to try it out this trip but no worries because I will be back and soon. Ixum is a breathe of fresh air. One of the most beautifully designed and well appointed hotels that I've stayed in and I can't wait to visit again.

Central location. My visits are for work, and the hotel is in an intermediate point to be at the office and the hotel zone. The room is superb!!!

Cozy, new and relaxing place
The hotel has only four rooms but it is brand new and very cozy. You can chill out on the beds, dip in the pool and take a drink.
The beds are comfortable and very nice.
If you are looking for a small, cozy and relaxing place in Cancun, I can recommend this.
