Happiness in Essaouira
We spent 5 wonderful days at Riad Babette in Essaouira, and this stay will remain a magnificent memory.
A huge thank you to Mohamed, who took care of us from the first to the last day. Always smiling, attentive, and available, he was exceptionally kind and greatly contributed to making our stay so enjoyable.
A big shout-out also to Safia, a talented chef who delighted us every morning with her delicious breakfasts. Her chicken tagine was a true delight, and her couscous was a magnificent highlight of our stay. Her smile, just like Mohamed's, reflects a rare kindness and generosity.
Thanks also to Saïd, the manager of the riad, who is also a true gem. Everything was perfectly organized for our arrival as well as our departure: from the taxi waiting for us at the airport to the porter who accompanied us to the riad. Thanks to him, we did not have to worry about anything.
Riad Babette is ideally located in the heart of the medina and offers an authentic and warm atmosphere. Everything was absolutely perfect: the welcome, the service, the cuisine, and the organization.
We leave with wonderful memories and recommend this establishment with our eyes closed. Thank you to the entire team for this moment of happiness!

Very well received by the entire riad team, attentive to every detail. Safia is an excellent cook. Cleanliness everywhere, nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff, I recommend it at 2000 /

Relax after the hot desert ⭐️
We spent two unforgettable days in this beautiful Riad! Since our arrival we felt welcomed as at home. The staff, consisting of Mohamed, Said and Mrs. Saifa, were exceptionally kind and helpful — even picked us up in Marrakech!
Mrs. Saifa prepared us a delicious Moroccan dinner, with a really delicious fish tajine, cooked with love and served in a warm and authentic atmosphere.
The rooms are bright, welcoming and attention to every detail; the bathroom is spacious and comfortable, also equipped with hairdryer. A big compliment to Said, who furnished the Riad impeccably, with taste and harmony, combining traditional style and modern comfort.
The location of the Riad is optimal: you can easily reach the sea, the fish market, the port and the city walls, from which you can admire breathtaking sunsets.
Breakfast on the terrace is fantastic, rich and typically Moroccan, with fresh and genuine products, to be enjoyed in a relaxing environment with a beautiful view.
Definitely the most beautiful Riad we did in Morocco: clean, quiet and welcoming. It feels like home, like family.
Highly recommended to those looking for an authentic, refined and managed by wonderful people.

A home away from home
We visited Essaouira for some kitesurfing, and were blessed by a wonderful stay at Riad Babette. Saïd and his family treated us like visiting royalty, attending to our every need. The Riad is very clean and beautifully decorated, the atmosphere is excellent, and the food wonderful. We would highly recommend Riad Babette to anyone visiting Essaouira, and wanting to find an oasis of peace located right in the Medina
