Excellent value for money in the heart of KL

On February 18, 2026 I stayed at the Bestow Capsule Hotel after a trip to Thailand and I could not have made a better choice. Being my first experience in a capsule hotel, I was a bit skeptical, but I had to change my mind across the board.
Strengths:
Design and Cleanliness: The hotel has a very modern and well-kept "jungle" theme. The cleanliness of the common areas and bathrooms is impeccable, which is essential for a shared structure.
The Capsules: Much more spacious than they look in photos. Soundproofing is good and the air conditioning inside is powerful (crucial with Kuala Lumpur humidity).
Social atmosphere: There's great energy. In the evening the lounge area comes alive and it was great fun to challenge other travelers to pool. Despite the liveliness, absolute silence reigns in the dormitories.
Position: Strategic. You're within walking distance of major attractions and street food hubs, but the hotel remains a quiet oasis.
Service: The staff deserves a special mention for their kindness and helpfulness. They helped me with every request, always with a smile.
Advice: If you are looking for privacy but still want to meet new people in a stylish environment, this is the place. Would definitely stay there again.

Good value for money, even though the room were jamed and I couldn't find a place to store my luggage -for valuable objects they have a safe inside the capsule which is good thing in a hostel- , but it wasn't as noisy as expected, the area is quite and so close to the bustling Bukit Bintag area and Jalan alor food street. Overall it was a good experience.

Modern capsule in an old hotel.

An old hotel in Bukit Bintang has been refitted with capsule dormitories and relaunched as Bestow Hostel. The downstairs capsules, clean, modernistic and air conditioned have good facilities: different lighting modes, power point and USB socket. Only the TV does not function. Ventilation is good and I slept well. The capsules themselves are of lightweight plastic construction, which I do not expect to age well. Already the bed base was cracked and the soft foam mattress was barely comfortable. But these capsules are apparently much better than the cheaper wooden capsules upstairs. The kitchen facilities are minimal. The common areas, unlike the space age capsules, look worn and shabby. Each toilet and shower share the same cubicle - it's rather cramped, and the shower heaters don't work. The wifi signal is strong in the reception area but weak away from it.
