Comfortable stay, though noisy at times

Spent four nights here during our stay in Nairobi. The rooms are spacious and well set out, though our room on the 2nd floor had no outward facing windows and only had a single window opening to the outside corridor. This also meant that noise was an issue - we were woken a few times during the night.
The bathroom is clean with an open shower - it always had hot water and had great pressure! House keeping is done daily, but often late in the day, as late as 3 - 4pm.
Reception staff are friendly and courteous, though they can be disorganised at times.
Wifi worked well much of the time, though they have a wifi system which requires either a daily or weekly login, and often repeatedly asks you for the login details - quite an annoyance as both the login and the password are a series of numbers.
The attached restaurant is great value with a good range of meals at decent prices. Breakfast is usually a combination of cereals, eggs your way, toast, sausages, sautéed potatoes and juices.
The location is in central CBD, and though we were told to be careful of our belongings while out at night, we never felt unsafe. The streets were always busy with lots of people.

Friendly staff but not my first choice

The place is in a sketchy area with prostitutes right outside. I complained to the front desk i killed 4 cockroaches in my room and they never bothered to try to solve the problem until i reminded them. Very loud in the hotel. All room windows face the corridor, you hear EVERYTHING. ALL NIGHT. Would never stay here again. Ive been traveling a long time. There are so many other better places to stay at for the same rate.

The friendliness is heartwarming

Because I travel lot, I have stayed at many hostels and hotels before. The staff of this hotel belongs to one of the most friendly of all I have met. They really surprised me with their friendliness. It put a smile on my face every time I talked to them again. I think the bathroom could be a little more clean and I didn't like the location of the hotel that much, but the beds were very comfortable and the food was good, also for a good price. If I ever need to be in Nairobi again, I would stay here.

My stay at Delfirm hotel was short but amazing. I loved the the abundant cool weather. I enjoyed their breakfast.
