Very modern and well-designed hotel - well-placed with convenient self-parking a few minutes away.

Great Food, Great Vibes, Great Service
I've been to the Drake Hotel's Drag Brunch several times now, and it never disappoints! It's always such a fun experience with incredible energy from the moment you walk in. The performances are fantastic, the crowd is always into it, and it's the perfect outing with a group of friends.
The food is consistently great, and the drinks and service keep us coming back just as much as the entertainment.
A special shoutout to our server, Bohdan, who was exceptional. He brought such great energy to our table, was incredibly attentive throughout the entire brunch, and genuinely made the experience even more enjoyable. It's clear he loves what he does, and it really shows.
We'll definitely be back!

Mixed Bag
Overall mixed experience here. The vibe of the hotel is great and I loved the surrounding area, particularly Ossington Street. However the hotel left a few things to be desired, particularly given the price.
1. It seems that there is a hierarchy between rooms in the old building and the new. With better amenities if on the new side.
- I wasn’t aware of the difference when booking and had a known I would have booked a room on the newer side.
- NOTE there is no elevator on the older side, so please take that into account when booking. On arrival the team did however assist with my luggage which was much appreciated.
2. There is no streaming or casting availability on TVs on the older side. The remote on my TV also didn’t work properly. I was advised to purchase or use my own streaming device which seems a bit outdated. Particularly for a stay upwards of $500 a night.
3. Housekeeping was hit or miss.
- I’d often come back to my room and the bed was hastily made with little care, and towels didn’t seem to be replaced. I don’t require new towels daily, however when the shower leaks I would have expected a replacement of the towels that get wet.
- they kindly offer water and glasses in the room, however this was not refilled for the duration of my 5 day stay.
4. As others have mentioned the hotel doubles as a restaurant and venue. I was lucky that my room was towards the back of the property so music wasn’t too bothersome. I could however hear the people from the neighbouring room quite loudly.
5. The staff at the front desk were also variable. The majority were incredibly kind and helpful, however on a couple of occasions I found some of the staff to be dismissive and uninterested.
6. The food in the hotel restaurants is great and the vibe across the restaurants and bars is worth the visit. I also loved the location as a base to explore Toronto.
7. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms dark with the blinds closed.
Overall I would advise booking a room on the newer side of the hotel for a better experience!

Great Hotel but too loud at Night
We really liked the vibe of this hotel; however, the DJ plays music until 3 a.m., at least on Friday and Saturday nights when we stayed, and it's hard to get any sleep.
