We knew from other reviews what we were getting and that’s exactly what it is! To agree with some other reviewers, it’s a great location in the city for a price we could handle when we booked a few nights before we needed to stay.
Beds were comfy enough and the room was spacious. Our room had a small fridge that we were quite happy about!
We arrived after our friend and the nice woman at the desk walked us through the building maze to our room. Don’t expect the Ritz :)

Here is a list of things to expect:
Loud street noise. No coffee and dishwashing soap, black mold in the bathroom, dirty microwave, hard mattress, no bedside lamp, broken light fixture in the bathroom, limited front desk service. This is not a place to have a restful stay.

Overall this hotel was okay. The glasses in my room had lipsticks marks and strange white powder inside of them, I had to take them downstairs to get clean ones, which were hard for staff to find. The mattress cover was obviously urinated on at some point, it didn't smell so I assume/hope it had been washed at some point. The location was excellent, it felt pretty safe. I would likely stay there again as the price was right but expect what you pay for.

i was verry satisfied with the stay. i was not happy about being told at check in there is a $200 deposite and was not mentioned in booking. In all years of renting rooms in Toronto, i never had to put a deposite and that is not right and would like to0 know why i was charged $200 deposite..

Second time staying here. I absolutely love this place. Good price, well located, and very friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in this part of Toronto
