Great Base for Exploring Dublin

Located on Fleet Street in the heart of Temple Bar, this is a great base for exploring Dublin. Comfortable accommodation for a solo traveller, with good amenities and attentive staff. The downstairs lobby, restaurant, and bar create a welcoming atmosphere. It's within easy walking distance of major attractions and only a few minutes from the airport bus pick-up and drop-off point. Highly recommended.

Location of the hotel was perfect right on the road of all the main bars in the temple area. The hotel exceeded my request of a high floor which I was grateful for. I would stay here again.

The location was great, the room was very small but served our purposes perfectly. The staff went out of their way to help as well.

Excellent spot right on Temple Bar. This is where Dublin folks come to shop, eat, drink and be seen. We felt very safe with the single entrance with a door man. But, it does stay loud with the noise from the adjacent business (Bingo of sorts. The caller was entertaining to listen to..and the hotel did provide ear plugs..but we never used them).
Tesco right next door and the breakfast was transformative!
I still rave about their fried egg on salad with just a pinch of salt. Imagine salad so tasty no dressing needed!!

First off, this location is fabulous if what you want is to be close to restaurants, bars, etc. Having said that, there IS a disadvantage to being close to all of those things--it's NOISY. We were here in July. It was hot. There is no air conditioning, so you really have to have your windows open, and it's noisy. There is just no getting around it. But the room was perfectly fine, the bed was comfortable, the staff were very nice, and it was fun being a close walk to great bars and music and food. And really . . . you're in Dublin--how can it truly be bad? The Irish are the friendliest and most fun-loving people we've encountered anywhere. Just go with the flow, bring some ear plugs, and enjoy!
