Classy stay in quiet area
Historic and boutique hotel with lots of charm and class. As a result, the layout and rooms are unconventional. Rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful. My room was quite small, okay for traveling solo and one night, but for two people or more than one night, it might not work. I don't think all rooms are small, again, the age and layout have a lot to do with it. Very convenient and quiet area, yet not too far away.The key is an actual key which you drop at the desk when you leave and grab when you come back. Even though it was a good stay, I do feel that I overpaid a bit, but there were two huge events in town this weekend which drove up prices.

This is an amazing place to stay!
Every minute of the stay here was quality. The staff were so kind and helpful. We only had a few days to stay here and we were definitely able to experience some incredible things in our time in Dublin and the concierge provided us with ideas and help to get our plans made. The meals in the restaurant were outstanding as were the people that were waiting on us. This is definitely a place to stay and is in a great central location. We are so grateful for our time at Buswells. What an absolutely beautiful location and atmosphere!

Ceiling fans would be a lovely way to alleviate the stuffiness in the rooms. Very noisy , street noise, not sure with windows open if that can be avoided in summer months. Staff very hospitableand eager to help

An enormous disappointment!
I have stayed in various hotels in Dublin for the past 30 years and decided to try the Buswells because of its location and the charm of the ground floor which I had visited and which is shown on the picture.
What a disappointment!
I had invited family members. Neither room reflected the charm of the Buswells' own pictures, despite the very kind receptionist changing mine because of the presence of two outdoor staircases right against my window...
I ended up with a window facing a painted screen hiding an ugly wall...
One of the rooms even had brown moldy joints around the bath.
The staff is young and extremely nice and professional and it is not their fault that I will never return to nor recommend this hotel.
What a disappointment!
