Staff were welcoming. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Coffee was available in the room along with a minibar. There was a good range of food in the breakfast, both cooked (fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages) cold meat and cheese, salads, yoghurts, pasties, breads etc. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Evangelismos metro stop on the blue line between the airport and central Athens.

The Ilisia Hotel was terrific! From the reception desk, to the bartender to the morning breakfast staff; none could have been more friendly and accommodating. If I were ever to return to Athens I would definitely use this facility again.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was versatile and tasty.

Perfect little hotel in Athens

Upon arrival we noticed that the reception was very clean, modern and the staff were welcoming. They spoke brilliant English and checked us in quickly. The staff were brilliant throughout and were very helpful.
They gave us 2 free drinks vouchers to use at the bar.
The breakfast was hot and had a good selection of pastries, hot food, yoghurts, fruit and breads. Quite a few people were queuing up before 7am to get in first but we always found a table. Self serve drinks too - the fresh orange juice was delicious!
Yes it is a long walk to the Athens attractions but the hotel is in a quiet area and just around the corner are some excellent restaurants.
On our last day, we were upgraded to the suite which was fantastic!! Huge room and the bathroom was amazing. Pillows on the bed were dreamy, WiFi was quick, room was clean, minibar had what we needed. An excellent way to finish our holiday.

6-day stay at Ilisia Hotel, Athens

Excellent hotel with friendly staff, great attitude and willingness to assist. Hotel premises were clean and proximity to shops/restaurants were a bonus. Sumptuous breakfast and convenient check out times. Well done, Ilisia :-) Jay from Australia

Comfy beds, good shower pressure, nice to have the nespresso machine and fridge in the room. Quiet, easy and friendly check in with helpful staff, nice breakfast. Equa-distant to two metro stops on the M3 line to the airport (easy walk with suitcases) - would have been happy staying here more nights than our one over night between flights. Pretty walkable to the city center and acropolis, especially through the national gardens. Would definitely stay again!
