An oasis of tranquility in the chaos of Athens*
My daughter and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and we couldn't have asked for better. As soon as you enter you understand that it is another world: maniacal cleanliness, everything organized, and a staff always with a smile and ready to help you.
The location is fantastic: in a few minutes you are at the main points of Athens, which is fundamental.
I must be honest about one point that does not concern the hotel: Athens shocked us due to the state of decay. Filth, people sleeping on the sidewalks... it is truly a shame for a capital so rich in history. Luckily we never had problems nor did we feel in danger, but the impact is strong.
The hotel, on the other hand, was our lifeline: returning in the evening and finding everything clean, safe, and welcoming made the difference.

Pre-cruise stopover.
One night pre-cruise stay. Central location on huge sprawling city. Warm welcome front desk at a very warm tine of year! Quick check-in. Room small and dark inward facing. Probably better elsewhere in hotel. Clean but basic. Everything provided but shower not working fully. Evening meal was good although restaurant quite. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, okay for one night.

The hotel staff were friendly, and welcoming. The room was reasonably clean,I would rate the cleanliness 4 out of 5.
However, the hotel’s location was a major downside. The neighborhoods around Omonoia are not the best or safest areas to stay, especially for first time visitors to Athens. I would recommend choosing accommodation in a different neighborhood if you are visiting the city for the first time.
Another disappointment was that no drinks were served in the hotel lobby. If you need something as simple as hot water in the evening, you won’t be able to get it because the hotel café closes, and there is no kettle in the rooms. Unfortunately, the staff were not able to help me with this.
The breakfast was also very limited and disappointing. It was definitely not what I would expect from a high ranked hotel.

Reasonable hotel in a very moderate neighborhood.
Great hotel in Athens, clean with reasonable breakfast. Location in a bad neighbor with lots of street trash, bums and junkies begging. Not a safe feeling and especially when you see the police putting on vests for the evening and night.

Lovely hotel, shame about the area
We stayed here for one night prior to moving to the second part of our trip.
The Hotel was immaculately cleaned in all areas. We were in room 204 which looked out to the main road. It was a large twin room with a good sized en suite bathroom. There was plenty of hanging space and two bottles of complimentary water in the fridge. There was also soap, shampoo and shower gel provided in the dispensers.
Breakfast had a wide variety of food. Cereals, breads, hot and cold food, fruit and yoghurt plus juice and hot drinks.
All the staff were polite and welcoming.
However the main and only downside of this hotel is where it’s based. It’s not in a very nice area of town. We openly saw someone injecting drugs on our way out in the afternoon and later on it didn’t feel a safe area to be walking around. Such a shame as it would make a great base for your trip.
If you are happy to take a taxi from the hotel to get yourself around then I would definitely recommend the hotel itself.
