Great location but noisy

Boutique Hotel located in a great location a few steps from Monastiraki Square, Plaka, Acropolis and Syntagma Square, the most touristic and suggestive areas of Athens are within walking distance....
The external aspect is that of a recently renovated old-fashioned residence, the hotel does not have a real reception, but has a person who provides the reception of guests during the day, generally you are asked the time of arrival, it could be a problem to arrive late.
Very kind however the receptionist girl who also booked us a taxi to go to the airport.
The room assigned to us (one superior) was furnished in a modern and cozy, available the coffee machine 'and the kettle (not 'including breakfast, but still near the hotel there's' a myriad of places to make it), the bed and' very comfortable, the modernly furnished bathroom has a shower really amazing and comfortable.
The only negative note is the noise coming from the street, the street where the hotel is and 'full of clubs, restaurants and sources of noise, in particular we were disturbed by street musicians who played reggae until late at night, in the room however there are earplugs provided.

Perfect location and excellent room and staff.
Room might be small for some folks. A little noisy because it is in the middle of everything.

This was the most enjoyable place we stayed at in Athens. It was perfectly located near many restaurants and must visit attractions.

We had a wonderful short stay at this hotel in Athens. The location was excellent, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the Acropolis. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was convenient and within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens

Although the building is beautiful and centrally located, and the decor is tastefully done, the room is small. But that's not a big deal at all. The real problem is the noise. It is simply unbearable. People screaming and car horns until 3am. Just when the noise stopped and I thought I would finally get some sleep, at 7am a machine started pounding the asphalt to repair the sidewalk, incredibly loud. Conclusion: I stayed awake all night long!
