Monaco F1 trip

Excellent place to stay , if you’re going to the F1 in Monaco the train station is 5 minutes walk away.
Also for the tram into down to the sea front and old town

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Avoid this hotel. They tried to charge us again despite already being paid in full. The room wasn’t as described, so we had to move - only to land in another room with a broken shower head, no hot water tap, a stained throw, and faulty air con. When we flagged the broken shower, reception’s response was “I don’t know what you want me to do about it, I’m not a technician.” No effort to fix anything, no apology, just indifference from start to finish. Staff were rude throughout. Paid over €1000 for 4 nights- have stayed in better hostels. A genuinely awful experience - pursuing a formal complaint and compensation through Booking.com.

Wanted to leave as soon as we walked into the room and saw it all. We went to the reception, refused to refund the money, changed the number too, ostensibly due to lack of space. Requested a refund from the booking company, but decides on the accommodation and was again refused. First of all, the smell, the constant smell of dampness with influxes of fecal smells. All the doors and cabinets are shabby, opposite the toilet on the wall is a drop of dried blood. The carpet is burned with an iron. Thank God we fit in, we're two fragile girls at 55 kilos. But you have to go in sideways, and you have to stand. There are no ear sticks, no cotton discs, no toothbrush with paste, no gowns. To my line that it wasn't even three stars by European standards - were genuinely surprised. The location is a ghetto. How no one butchered us there is also a mystery. Real 100 meters to the train station, where at night people of no fixed abode fight with breaking bottles. You know how muddy and smelly it is outside. We booked 50 € for something, because there's no minibar. There's only a fridge. Everyone's in a very bad state and that money could easily never be repaid. Don't believe the pictures and don't spoil your holiday!!!!!

A SHAME!

A shame! A friend who was on vacation had booked at this hotel, located near my apartment (I live in Nice). I accompanied her to the hotel and the receptionist told us that, even though her reservation did not include breakfast, it was offered. My friend took advantage of this offer and at check-out, they asked her to pay for it! 12 euros for a coffee!
I find these practices shameful, moreover the rooms are really very small;
I absolutely do not recommend.

We were there two nights and had a great stay. The location is about a 3 or 4 min walk from the train station so zero stress getting there for us. Tram station is also very close if you don't want to walk to the beach front and old town area, which are all within comfortable walking distance.
The hotel room was great. Quiet, warm and everything we needed. Bed really comfy as well.
We were able to drop out bags early, and leave them on check out day due to our train arrival and departure times.
The staff were great to us a well with excellent tips for places to eat.
All in all, a great experience.
