Beautiful room, breakfast less

Nice b & b in a beautiful building and a very good location, nice hostess. Breakfast is a disappointment. The lady of the house thought we had not asked for breakfast, but we had paid for it. So she solved it by putting breakfast in a small fridge and on a coffee table. I had been looking forward to a delicious French bread, but that was not possible. Breakfast in the 'earlier loungers' in the room is also not as comfortable. So but chairs taken from the common area and our plan drawn. Room is ok but breakfast I do not recommend.

Lovely spacious room in a nineteenth century apartment building

Lovely spacious room in a nineteenth century apartment building. The building had a lift and the room had full ensuite facilities. Agnes was very friendly and helpful. Whilst breakfast wasn't included, there was a fridge so we were able to buy supplies at the supermarket so it was not a problem. Agnes kindly provided crockery/cutlery for our use. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Lyon. We had a lovely stay and would recommend

A hidden gem in the heart of Lyon

What an absolute hidden gem. When my husband told me we are staying in a room in someone’s house, I wasn’t sure what to expect but there was nothing I could fault with this property. From Agnes changing her schedule to accommodate our arrival to the absolutely perfect location walking distance to pretty much anywhere you need to go. The room we had was a large ensuite – better decorated and furnished than most 5 star hotels we have been to. The lovely living room was there for us to use and a well-stocked tea/ coffee station. There are many nice places for breakfast within 2 minutes walk. The station is a few minutes walk away as well.
Agnes was also super helpful in orientating us and helping us plan our visit. We would visit Lyons again just to stay here – and eat in those amazing restaurants.

A great find in the heart of Lyon

Beautiful room with its own bathroom/ shower and a shared living space in Agnes's beautiful home.
Absolutely amazing location in Presq'ile - walking distance to the old city, place bellecours, gare perrache... most anywhere you need to go!!!
Beds were super comfortable as well!!!

Good location.

We were welcomed and given excellent service by our hosts during our three night stay. The room was large and beautifully furnished. We had a basic breakfast on one of the mornings, on the others we bought from a local bakery. We were just a short walk from the Tourist Information and Place Bellecour. We stayed here in mid September and the lack of an air conditioner meant that we suffered from the heat (it was in the low 30's). Luckily the temperatures were a cooler at night and we slept with the windows open and the fan blowing air in our direction.
