Great location.
Very friendly staff.
Good and well assorted breakfast.
Only issue is there is only one small lift. And it broke down a few hours.

Beautiful hotel in fabulous Lyon

Carlton Hotel Lyon is a lovely, renovated old hotel in the Presquile area of Lyon. It is convenient to all you want to see in Lyon. It is also air-conditioned. Our room was comfortable with a large, modern bathroom. Breakfast was abundant.
The staff members were very helpful and speak excellent English. They arranged a car to the airport (which is far out of town) for an early morning flight. If we are ever back in Lyon, we would definitely stay at the Carlton again.

At he center of Lyon, very convenient location! Air conditioning was more than a plus as the temperature in August was extremely high. Clean room, polite staff and good amenities, you have all you need.

Great hotel. Quiet and central.

Very beautiful hotel, super well located. Rooms are not very big but very well laid out. And the best part is this incredible soundproofing. With a room that overlooks the Place de la République, you don't hear a sound. I didn't have breakfast, but I saw that the buffet was hearty and varied. The welcome is extremely friendly.

Extremely welcoming personal and very professional. Our car was taken care of and parked and brought back to the entrance when we left after 2 nights stay. We will definitely use the hotel next time we pass by. Breakfast was top class
