A little gem !

This little holiday site is a gem ! We absolutely loved it ,beautiful pool area very nice clean rooms with small kitchen facilities and the owners are so friendly. Nothing is too much bother for them. There is no air-conditioning, but we requested more fans and they were brought to our room ! Highly recommend this little place situated in the trees No noise at all ! Will definitely go back.

To flee

Upon arrival we were surprised at the location, which is next to a tire discharge. The bungalow was in poor condition, almost unsanitary (traces of mold all over the bathroom, pillows with big stains, dirty fridge and a more than dubious cleaning...). Since it was 35 degrees in the bungalow, we opened the windows, but an "army" of cats were waiting for it to enter the bungalow. I do not understand that this property has 2 stars! Run away!

Peaceful week

Quiet stay - even the WE- surrounded by bay trees in bloom. Large swimming pool very nice in summer. 1km a large supermarket accessible on foot or by car without taking the main road. TNT TV, immediate hot water. Insufficient kitchen equipment. Car required to access Carcassonne.

Exhausting stay

Came for 3 days to rest, we left even more tired.
The cottage is located a few meters from an open-air discotheque so it is impossible to be able to sleep before 5 a.m. The staff even provides protective caps and asks you to call the police station if the noise is too loud. But apparently it is It's been like this for several years during the summer period.
The accommodation will require updating (fridge without freezer and broken shelf, leaking shower head), but it is spacious and functional.
A little disappointed also not to be able to use the swimming pool in the middle of the day because it is being cleaned.
The setting is nice and the layout of the accommodation allows for privacy.
a positive point for welcoming pets which is becoming increasingly rare in rentals.

Near from Canal du Midí. Very friendly staff :-)

Git'Ostal is a camping located in the surroundings of Carcassonne. In fact, it is near from Canal du Midí, so it is a very nice point to begin walks around it. The staff was very friendly and he helped us always we needed (Thank you! :-)). My daughter enjoyed a lot in the children park, in the swimming-pool and in the indoor soccer field. the room is big for three persons and the price is very good.
On the other hand, It is a bit far from Carcassonne, you need a car to go there or to go to a supermarket (5 minutes by car). The room only has few utensils in the kitchen or amenities in the bathroom. There are only few vines or food in the bar (it is a new camping, so I am sure they will improve).
