Great choice for car-free holidays

I can highly recommend this hotel for people who seek a combination of comfort and convenience. It is situated right next to the airport (but planes could not be heard) while granting great access to Ajaccio old town, various beach fronts and the boat harbor by public transport, i.e. even without a rental car. At the same time, the hotel itself is surrounded by a lovely park and pool, so even relaxing days at just the hotel are possible too.
Moreover, the staff were exceptionally forthcoming and attended to each of our requests, in multiple languages. We felt their hospitality. A big Thank you!
Really the only thing I would change is the artificial bougainvillea at the entrance because one is always greeted with the smell of dust mites.

We booked our stay at Campo Dell'Oro because it was near the airport and we had a super early departure the next morning. We were not expecting anything luxurious, but that is exactly waht we got! WE are SO happy that we arrived early enough to take advantage of the beautiful pool and bar area. The pool is gorgeous, the water was pristine and the perfect temperature! We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant; our food was amazing! I had the shrimp risotto and my husband enjoyed the Chef daily special of the local fish. Our server was great (a bonus that he knew English) and our night was perfect. Our room had a stunning view and the bed was super comfortable. A+

1 night 15 days later room with a musty smell the AC that works poorly and is very noisy not great very disappointed
