Quiet, clean and comfortable apartment with extremely helpful hosts. 10/10
We stayed in this spacious apartment for one night before our cruise the next day. Muhammad was very helpful offering to arrange a taxi from the airport (I’d recommend this, going rate is $20 and you are haggled at the airport)
We had breakfast on the terrace upstairs- it was a lovely more local kind of spread.
Muhammad also helped arrange a boat to cross us over the Nile the following day and accompanied us to make sure we got there safely.
The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and cool/had AC. It is simply furnished and not very modern but perfect for what we needed.

Excellent guesthouse on the west bank
Excellent guesthouse on the west bank of the Nile in Ramla, opposite the Luxor Temple.
The staff are very polite and friendly.
The large room on the ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible if it is important to you. Brothers Mahmoud and Mohammed, they helped us a lot. A great place to relax if you don't want fuss and noise. And a stunning view of the dawn over the Nile.

Great experience!
The apartment was clean and tidy, just opposite Nile and close to the ferry boat to cross the river. The guys were kind and attentive to any of our needs. Fantastic experience. Super recommended!

Good value for the money.
Very spacious, right on the West bank of the Nile, easy walking distance to catch a ferry to the East side. Had only breakfast, and it was pretty decent. The host's family was very friendly and accommodating. 2 bedrooms, with a very large living room, kitchen and large bathroom.

Quiet Guest House overlooking Nile and Luxor Temple
Quiet location on west bank short walk south of ferry terminal along dirt road. Local market and restaurants along street. Other westerners staying in these guest houses. Local will try to arrange boat tours or to Valley of Kings. Welcome banana drink. They speak limited English but this is more of an experience staying with locals away from busy tourist areas. I had top floor, bedroom had A/C, living room had ceiling fan. Rooftop terrace is shared with other guests but room had rear terrace overlooking Valley of Kings and hot air balloons in morning.
