Fantastic
Superb resort, the staff are so friendly and the entertainment is fantastic. The night time shows were well worth a visit, the singers are fabulous and the dancers are worthy of the West End. Little touches mean a lot thanks Desert Rose. Del Mar breakfasts were beautiful

Could be great but isn’t.
Could be great. The location is amazing as are the staff (when you’re a good tipper), however, it needs tunes by the activity pool. Rarely saw entertainment staff just harassed by people trying to sell tips. However the big issue is that we paid $100s to have Ultra All Inclusive and got the same gin and couldn’t book a restaurant in 10 days. The problem? - the food in the palm is aweful. I lost weight. I made a pool dry cheese sandwich twice and only had dessert another night as the food is inedible. Such a shame as could be an awesome resort. And for anyone saying there is something for everyone, just check out a Monday night. If you don’t like Chinese, you go hungry. We had to order room service several times at cost. Ruined our holiday.

Terrible.
Terrible!
They call themselves a 5 star resort but they were far away.
The food gets no more than 3 stars and the room no more than 1.
Fully overdue and not maintained. We dared not touch anything with our hands and feet because of mold on the walls and floors.
Sitting in reception and guest relations for hours, but they only pointed to the travel agency, they had to come up with a solution.
Desert Rose did not want to cooperate to give us a pleasant stay and memory.
Surely the basis of your holiday is a safe place to sleep and shower!? Guest relations suggested we didn't stay in the room all the time after all.
Also to some other questions the answer was NO that is not possible and is not possible.
The vendors in the shops were very aggressive, we did not feel comfortable there, the vendors who came along the cots were also impossible to get rid of. The orange flags that were meant to indicate that you don't want to be disturbed were worthless: yes, nice color, said one salesman and just continued with his story.
Beds have not been changed for 10 days?!
No, thousands of euros paid for a holiday that we will unfortunately not soon forget. It was a disaster, it was horrible, it was dirty!
Unfortunately, the smiles of the hardworking staff could not undo our experience.

Disappointing visit
My stay at Desert Rose Resort Hurghada was disappointing mainly because of the staff attitude and the check-in experience.
At first, the staff seemed polite, but in reality, their way of dealing with guests was full of unnecessary stubbornness and poor attitude. We had booked two rooms, but when we arrived, we had to wait for around two hours. After that, we were given only one room, with a very bad view overlooking an inactive/closed resort or village behind the hotel. The staff told us this was the best they could do because the hotel was busy.
We waited another two hours for the second room, and when they finally offered it, the air conditioning was not working. When we complained, the staff replied rudely, saying that this was what was available and that we had arrived early.
After I got very upset and made a serious complaint, suddenly all the problems were solved. We were given two rooms next to each other with a good view, which clearly shows that a better solution was available from the beginning.
Another major issue was the bar staff. Unfortunately, most of them were extremely rude and unprofessional.
On the positive side, the restaurant staff were excellent, very respectful, and helpful. They were probably the best part of the experience.
Overall, the resort itself may be good, but the guest service and staff attitude need serious improvement.

It was a nice holiday, but we didn't repeat it for Eid al-Adha due to the lack of any celebrations.
A pleasant experience and a lovely Eid holiday in a wonderful place, but unfortunately there were no Eid al-Fitr celebrations. The entire staff are wonderful and professional, especially in Del Mar and Bella Vista. The quality and variety of food in the main restaurant has improved significantly compared to previous times.
A big thank to Ms Mahmoud Ms Milad, the manager of the main restaurant. The renovation of the 3000 building is nice, but I miss the old style; it was more comfortable.
