Museum Inn hostel, Prague
Well what can I say, Robert Volnik the Manager was an absolute star. I was travelling with 3 friends to Prague for New Year. Robert picked us up from the airport and drove us to the Apartment and it was like having our own Tour Guide. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a mind of information! Robert spent about an hour with us once we arrived at the apartment giving us advice about Prague, answering our questions and highlighting things on our map.
He recommended some great bars, restaurants, cafes and things to do in Prague as well as giving us travel, security and shopping advice!
The apartment was nice and clean and had amazing character! It was nice to be staying in a historic Czech building and not a modern hotel. The location of the apartment just behind the National Museum and off Wenceslas Square was very central but was also in a very economical part of town( no tourist mark up in the bars, restaurants or supermarkets. It was also very convenient for getting around Prague. Although lots of public transport is available close by we walked absolutely everywhere even the highest tourist attractions such as the castle, cathedral and Petrin Hill and Tower.
The apartment had everything we required including microwave, fridge, sink, kettle, nice bathroom, and triple double glazed windows. Despite the building being old and the ceilings high, the apartment was always warm despite the -4 degrees temperature some days!
There is a lovely Cafe underneath the apartment called Cafe Bali which does an amazing breakfast at a reasonable price! ( If you book one day ahead you get a 10 per cent discount too, so we had breakfast here everyday! Her sandwiches and cakes all looked amazing too so I’m sure lunch and dinner in Cafe Bali are as good as the breakfast! The manager of the Cafe, Leona was another absolute star! Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was very amenable and the Cafe was beautifully decorated.
All I can say is, I will definitely be back to Prague staying in the Museum Inn and dining at Cafe Bali xx

Experience not to be repeated!
The room did not match the one booked! I had booked the one on the upper floor and instead I think we were given one of the worst rooms, quite dismal (the one overlooking the street). Value for money absolutely to be reviewed. We paid for a hostel with a 4-star hotel price, so for what we paid I expected at least a little more cleaning and instead the room was dirty, full of dust with broken bed slats and broken wardrobe. Bath products that were theoretically included among the services offered not received. The only thing I save is the great location close to the center and all public transport (central station and metro). So in conclusion, it makes sense to consider this accommodation only when the cost is low but vice versa better to spend 100€ more but in a luxury hotel!

Exactly what it says on the tin!!
Myself and my partner stayed here for 7 days during our recent trip to Prague and it was lovely. The room is basic with some cooking facilities and no T.V but if you came to Prague on a couples holiday you don't need the T.V :p also the building is dated but historical and in a prime location behind the museum and next to the tram and metro lines. Also the manager Robert is very helpful and kind and will offer some good advise about Prague, places to eat and areas to avoid.
Also if travelling here I recommend using a pre-paid visa card such as Revoult makes exchanging money easier and safer using ATMs

Simply amazing
The location was great , the rooms were clean newly renovated bathrooms , felt like home . The owner picked us up from the station and gave us very helpful tips , he spent more than 30 min explaining about the city and telling us what to and and how to do it . he was very friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed . his recommendations were awesome you have everything that you need for ur stay from utensils to hairdryer . highly recommended

Amazing hostel where you feel like you're at home
Hostel Museum Inn is situated near the small garden in an old building 5 minutes from two metro stations: Muzeum and Hlavni Nadrazi. We stayed in 2 rooms appartment, it has its own bathroom and small kitchen. Bed was big and super comfortable.
Owner of the hostel knows everything about his city! He suggested us many nice places in the Prague and showed us all of them on the map. He takes care about guests and it's always easy to reach him by the phone or e-mail.
The Museum Inn hostel is situated in a quite district 3 minutes from the beautiful Wenceslas Square - the heart of Prague. There are a lot of bars and nice not expensive restaurants around it. I would strongly recommend you to go to BlaBla Bar (super tasty cocktails, 2 min from hostel) and Hemingway Bar (15 min from hostel).
You will really enjoy the beauty of Prague even more if you'll decide to stay here!
