Nice enough facilities but unacceptable in any sort of heat

Honestly, most of the aspects of the hostel are pretty good - I like the fact that there is a break. ast. However, the fact that there is no AC and no fans available is completely unacceptable in temperatures of 37 degrees. I understand that it's not normal for it to be this hot, but even if it were 30 degrees, I would still require a fan. I have a medical condition that means my body struggles to regulate it's own temperature, meaning this stay is going to be incredibly dangerous for me. They need to make sure they can actually take care of their guests.

DONT GO HERE

Alright location but terrible for parking, we had to park all the way down the road. The rooms where disgusting, with plastic bedsheets, which we had to make the bed ourselves, the desk chair was awfully uncomfortable and left me with chronic back pain, the showers are filthy and covered in hair, you can only make the water freezing cold even when you choose the hot tap, it’s also extremely small and difficult to use with no shower head and it stops running after a few seconds, the “bathroom” connected to our room is a cubicle with NO toilet, the beds were shaking and clearly unstable. The food was disgusting and you only get one choice. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never stay here again.

As we are located in the center of Brussels, parking nearby can sometimes require a short walk, and we do not advertise private parking on-site.
We are also surprised to read the comments regarding the facilities, especially as no issues were reported to reception during your stay. If there had been a problem such as cold water, our team would have gladly assisted immediately. Our reception is always available to help guests with any concerns during their stay.

Not recommended

Plus: Great location, ideal to discover Lille on foot. Nice staff even though the person at the time of departure did not ask us if our stay went well.
The least: clean establishment but very very noisy: very poor soundproofing... you can hear neighboring rooms ... snoring, sneezing, piped bathtubs , piped toilets, people talked in the hallway... and breakfast at the excessive price. Better to focus on quality than quantity.
The other comments already clarify and support the problem of soundproofing and that management remedy it.... no work found. That's a shame.
Overall high price for this property

Good stay and nice hostel

Nice modern hostel with good size rooms. Clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Excellent location with 10 mins walk to the main square and a bus stop outside for other areas.
