Convenient for Murdoch University and the Health Quarter, but otherwise a bit remote

I was booked into this hotel while working at the nearby Murdoch University. The South Street campus of the University is a pleasant 10 minute stroll from the hotel. The hotel itself is in a new health quarter, so it is surrounded by hospitals and medical clinics.
The hotel room was large and had all the usual facilities expected of an international hotel chain. The 1st floor bar and restaurant serves excellent breakfasts. I have a special fondness for Eggs Benedict, which was not on the breakfast menu, but the staff happily made it for me as a favour which I really appreciated. I ate at the restaurant at night a couple of times and the portions are vast. I could have shared the rib dinner with a football team!
Because of the nature of the surrounding businesses, many of which appear to close at night and at the weekend, other facilities around the hotel are very limited. There is a convenience store, a burger takeout shop and a (very good) cafe-bar called Bar Apothecary with a wide range of craft beers, but nothing else.
Because I was there over a weekend when the area becomes a bit of a ghost town, I took the Transperth railway from the Murdoch station into Perth CBD. The Murdoch station is a short 5-10 minute walk from the hotel and it is only four stops into the city (c. 15 minutes). A roundtrip costs A$3.50. The Perth Underground stop is right in the heart of CBD and close to all the nightlife.
The staff at the hotel are fabulous and very friendly. After a week on the road, I was running out of clean clothes and, because there is no public laundromat in the health quarter, the staff at reception gave me a key to use the hotel laundry which was a life saver! The staff couldn't have been kinder.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone working at Murdoch University or in the health quarter. If I were staying over a weekend again, I think I would move to a hotel in the CBD for the Friday and Saturday night.

Exceptional Venue and Service for a Successful Business Workshop

Excellent venue for corporate workshops and team events. The collaboration facilities were modern and well suited to productive sessions, and the dining options were fantastic throughout our stay. A special thank you to Sohil for her exceptional leadership, seamless coordination, and clear communication before and during the event. Her support played a significant role in making our two-day workshop a success. Highly recommended for business functions and team offsites.

Business Hotel not for Family

Came with family but this hotel got no much facilities. The lobby is tiny no swimming pool no kids room. It’s more like a business hotel and it got meeting room you can hire. but good side is everything is new as it only opened last year. If you just need a room to rest, it ticks all boxes. But I expected more when seeing it is 4 stars with good marks of 92.
