Fantastic Pub

What a fantastic pub
Great service and food was to die for had Prawn Dumplings & they were superb
Staff were excellent and very friendly & service was even better
Do yourself a favour & dine here if ur in the area
Such a lovely atmosphere here & we were here at lunchtime so can imagine how cool it would be at dinner time

Room good value. Meal very poor.

The room was clean and well appointed. It was good value for money, however before making the booking it did not state that a $150 refundable bond needed to be paid. I only found out when checking in. As I prepaid when booking, I had little choice but to pay.
The evening meal roast was served lukewarm. I suspect it was not freshly made but possibly frozen and reheated. I had to ask them to heat it up more. I received no apology but glares from the staff members. I recommend that you eat elsewhere

Noisy loud weekend nights, inconsiderate

Noisy on weekends nights, loud unpleasant live music, inconsiderate staff if you have to be up early next morning. Only location was a plus and a bit of value for money. Also rooms, could have more facilities. Could do better. Good to be near Glenelg beach, that was a plus otherwise a bit below average for what it is

It was worth trying but it is work in progress

The decore is fantastic but the dining room falls short on service levels and provides just ordinary pub food..
The young staff would benefit from a bit of customer service training - the basics are there but not polished
The food is very ordinary in presentation and quality. It simply does not befit the splendid setting.

Good service, good food

Good service, good food and very nice atmosphere. I went on the spur of the moment with a friend and we were both pleasantly surprised with the service and with the food. The special included a soup of the day which was a nice surprise. The menu was good but I felt the prices a bit steep
