Fullarton Motor Lodge

Stayed here after a late flight home from airport as we live in country SA. It was exceptional. Highly professional from the point of booking online. They emailed me straight away with room number, so we could check ourselves in. We could smell the clean linen upon entering. Room was large, spotless, tea/coffee/milk, big comfy bed, high quality linen, blankets, duvet, and fluffy towels. Water pressure and heat in shower was amazing. Returned the key in the morning to Margaret who was so lovely. We give the Fullarton Motor Lodge a huge tick of approval. Whether a quick stop over or longer stay to adventure Adelaide, this has you covered. The price is incredible too. Thanks so much, we will be back and recommending to our friends and family.

Difficult to locate the Motor Lodge and the Reception

Couldn’t find Reception because (a) the arrow was misleading and (b) the word “Reception” was hidden by the insect screen. Difficult to locate Fullarton Motor Lodge because the name was not lighted up prominently and the entrance driveway was not lighted up. The room numbers were also not lighted up at night. The air-conditioner was too small for the room. Fortunately it had a small portable heater which we moved to the shower room and after that to near the bed.
The mattress, pillows and towels were excellent. Had to ask for shower cap. During our 1st stay, had to ask for milk, the room had insufficient power sockets and the shower cubical no space for own toiletries. However in our 2nd stay, there was milk, the room had many power sockets and there was space for toiletries.

Cheap, very cheap

This motel is a cheap place to stay. It felt safe enough, but was not super clean and the bed covers were very, very old. Didn’t really want to touch them. I’m not fussy about cheap accom when you get a decent well scrubbed room, but this was just a bit too yuck and run down for me.

Not impressed at all

Happy with price but everything else is below average. Blood stain and unmade beds. No sheet on the bed and when went to switch out the bedsheet from the other bed found the bloodstain. Windows have no seal and therefore air-conditioning or heating does not work. Very disappointed. My daughter had to switch room and sleep with my sister instead.

Too close to a very busy road carrying large trucks with the sound booming through the room. However, very nice staff.

It’s right on the A1. Perhaps rooms are the back might be ok. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The price reflects the issue so not too disappointed.
The room was simple and did not have a seperate basin in the room.
It’s ok for a one night stop over.
