A lovely, welcoming hotel

The hotel is in a quiet, charming walkable neighborhood, not far from Paddington Station and the bus stop for attractions like Piccadilly Circus and the British Museum.

Overall - great everything!!!

Great location, close to Paddington Station and in between 2 underground stations. Friendly staff, who go out of their way to help. Room was clean and a good size - had a roof patio but unfortunately no key to go outside! Air Con was a plus (for obvious reasons). Good value for money. Would definitely stay at the Commodore Hotel again

Great location, no noise and lovely staff

The Commodores location is just perfect - almost right across from Kensington Garden, the Italien Garden and Hyde Parc. There are two tube stations right by Lancaster and Bayswater and the the big one Paddington Station only 12 minutes wals away. Here you can take the purple Elizabeth Line to and from Heatrow!
The Commodore Hotel itself is an old victorian hotel all white and with a nice approce and style. It has great staff and they are alle very helpful in every way.
The reception and room is welcoming and nice with great with soothing jazz music and you can relax here, make a cup of cofee or tea and have a crossiant and a glass of cucumber-water. Very nice!
Unfortunately we had booked an executive doubbleroom for two (grown ups), but the bed in the room given to us was way way too small. Even though we are family and close, it just wasn´t a prober size to call a doublebed. We are both slim and weigh less than 60 kilos each, and with a soft matres we fell out of that bed instantly.
Luckily the staff worked something out and found an available room in the basement with at large bed (Kingsize) so there we got lots of good sleepe. The basement on the lower level wasn´t at all dark as one would think :O)) Thanks for that room.
We would like to recomend this hotel due to the location, authentic looks and friendly staff, but rooms with the small beds of the size of 110 or 120 centimeters are NOT meant for two adults. Sorry to say.
We booked our room in early april 26 through Booking.com, but the picture and description didn´t match the real room decor and bed offered on arrival.
Hope to come back one day soom.

Perfectly situated to all that we wished to see and do. Across the road from Hyde park and walkable to Paddington station.
Just around the corner were plenty of restaurant and transport options.
Beautiful room and oh so comfortable bed!
