Hubbies 77 th birthday treat
We stayed for 2 nights loved the area everything on your doorstep studio was really good everything we needed so clean and all amenities .check in was quick would recommend this studio as we both in our 70s and found it suited our needs in every way .only 1 downside was the pigeons when you get new windows double glazing would be good but wasnt a problem thank you for a very good stay.

Stay here if you like inhaling mould
The best word to describe our stay would be “bleak.” The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos advertised online and felt neglected from the moment we walked in. The mattress on the main bed was rock hard and deeply uncomfortable, while the pull-out bed had a metal bar running straight through the middle, making it practically impossible to sleep on without waking up in pain.
To make matters worse, several light fixtures looked as though they were barely attached to the walls, and around half of the plug sockets in the room simply did not work. The entire room smelled strongly of damp and mould throughout our stay. When we raised this with reception and asked to be moved, the receptionist was dismissive and uninterested, merely shrugging and saying, “It’s an old building,” as though that somehow excused the condition of the room.
At the very least, guests should be able to expect a clean room that does not smell of mould.
Overall, the condition of the accommodation was far below what was advertised and entirely unacceptable for paying guests.

Nice find
Stayed here for a couple of nights for a short break.we had a ground floor studio next door at 148 and it was a little treasure. It had everything you needed and fery convenient for both the tube and buses.
OK little things niddled like the plugs hiding behind the bedside cabinets but hey we just moved the cabinets.
We would book it again.

Good, but not good
Clean and basic room. Complete with dishes and kitchen and coffee. Acceptable dimensions. Double bed ok. Single bed not usable for smashed base. Heating with single split in the master bedroom. More cold rooms. The front desk staff dismissed them with a "open the bedroom door and everything gets warm". For what it costs, despite London, the receptionist should at least have checked.

We cannot recommend this hotel
Our experience was disappointing. Even though we informed the hotel we would arrive 20 minutes late, check-in was already closed and we had to stay in another hotel for the first night. The cleanliness was below expectations: the shower had black stains in the seals and one of the curtains was dirty.
The entrance looked nothing like the photos on Booking — the plants shown in the pictures were missing and only the number 146 was visible, making it hard to find. Overall, the hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating at the moment. Updated photos and clear information about any ongoing renovations would be appreciated, ideally with a discount.
We cannot recommend this hotel based on our stay.
