Great stay! Highly recommend.

This was a neat little hotel! The room was very spacious, quiet, modern and clean, we absolutely loved it. The front desk staff was top notch! They were extremely friendly and offered great food recommendations in the area. In the heart of downtown Glasgow, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was also very close to the Scotrail station, which was great! Lots of good food and entertainment close by. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Glasgow!

This is an absolutely great place to stay in the heart of Glasgow. The apartments are well appointed and very clean. The only major downside is that if you have a room that faces the side alley there is no respite from noise. The bins which are mostly glass recycling from the pub get emptied every morning at around 4-5am which is followed by beer barrels being delivered and rolled off a truck. It’s horrendously loud so impossible to sleep through. I seriously recommend brining ear plugs or asking for an apartment facing away from the alley.

EXPENSIVE

The room was okay, however for the amount of money we paid, over £600 for a 2 night stay, it was not worth it. The view wasn't too bad, you could see part of George Square, that's probably why the room it is so dear for the location, however currently there is some construction work going on at the square. When we are arrived at the reception, we were given some information and promptly told the house keeper does not clean the rooms daily, again for what we paid it would have been nice to get some fresh towels daily. The toilet system was not working properly and the wifi wasn't reliable. Over all disappointed.

Hi there, we are sorry to hear that your stay didn't live up to your expectations. The works in George Square and the surrounding area are works that have been ongoing for months as part of the City Councils plans to renovate the City Centre. You are correct that we do not do daily room cleans automatically, however we do replace towels, tea, coffee, milk etc on request so they are always available for our guests when needed. Noise!

The hotel was in a nice location but the hike from the nearest car park at Jamaica street with luggage was a bit of a trek. Staff were friendly, room and linen was nice BUT only three stars due to the noise. We were on the fourth floor yet from @5am onwards there was the noise of beer kegs being moved/rolled along the cobbled lane behind the hotel, that and bottle bins being emptied, alarms going all contributed to a very poor experience. I appreciate that all that isn't necessarily the fault of the hotel but double/secondary glazing would cut out the noise. I do like the native brand and hopefully the above can be sorted at some point.
