Fantastic
Visited for a friend's birthday fitst impression very nice and reception and bar / restaurant area the staff were fantastic very friendly and helpful we only had the pizza for a light lunch and very nice I was given 20% discount card on food and drinks a nice touch along with 2 free coffees and 2 free drinks at the bar the room was nice and very comfortable bed and good power shower all in all very happy and would visit again

Excellent hotel in a good location for visiting Exeter. Car park is across the road with £10 24hr parking discounted from the hotel. Bar is good but overpriced Rooms were of a good standard we had decent nights sleep, comfortable beds & decent shower. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice to fill you up for the day.

Terrible Booking Process!
Stayed 1 night- 1st to 2nd August 2026. Not happy and very confused, Amateur booking and no communication between staff
Liked · The room and the breakfast were excellent! The choice at breakfast met all of our requirements.
Disliked · 28th March 2026- Confirmation of 2 rooms (one for my wife and I and one for my wife's auntie and disabled husband) after booking. On Friday 31st I called to confirm with Sophia the Deputy Manager that we had 2 rooms and asked if there was disabled parking. She then informed me we had booked one room! I then said that was incorrect and she then said it looked like I had booked 2 rooms. After 15 minutes on the phone Sophia sorted it out and said yes we did have 2 rooms and minutes later I got a confirmation it was two rooms. When we checked in on Saturday there was a big problem and they implied that there weren't two rooms and I was lying. After getting very irritated they then said there were two rooms and we then checked in after 20 minutes of upset! The next morning I had a voicemail on my phone asking me when I was checking in and then an email later saying I was a no show? Very very bizarre!!! Do not go there if nervous travellers but check and get written confirmaton of everything! They blamed booking.com but made we feel stupid!

Great location to the city centre and park right opposite for discounted rate from the hotel £10 per 24hrs staff really helpfull we were able to check in early which was a bonus everything was nice and clean would recommend

Nice hotel, but a bit shabby in places bearing in mind the cost of the rooms. Food in the restaurant and the breakfast was ok. The rooms were very clean and staff were friendly and helpful, but more staff needed in the evenings in the restaurant and bar area.
