Really Fabulous hotel, try to arrive before 10pm to check
Really lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, great staff, delicious breakfast buffet.
A perfect spot to base yourself for a few magical days exploring this amazing city.
Just a few minutes walk to two metro stations, plenty of buses to use as well, if you're hear for a few days get the 72hr public transport pass, use it on any metro, bus, tram, trolley bus.
Truly beautiful city, and not a stag / hen do insight
Some amazing history, the free walking tours with Katrina and team were a brilliant introduction to Hungary and its eclectic past.
We were delayed landing, arriving at around 11pm and had to call the night porter, and then get a link via email to pay the city tax, before accessing the hotel lobby and the night safe to get our room key.
A perfect spot to base yourself for a few magical days exploring this amazing city.

Anniversary Trip in Budapest
We went to Budapest on our 37th wedding anniversary trip and booked through Tripmasters. This was the best of the 3 hotels that we stayed at ( the other 2 were in Prague and Vienna) . The room was like a suite , very spacious and well decorated! The bathroom was huge and comfortable! The staff was friendly and welcoming, helpful! Great location , close to Public Transport. We loved the city , the people , the food, architecture and museums ! Loved the Citadella , river cruise, and also sting by the Danube River at sundown having drinks ! Definitely worth a second visit!

We had a fab time
We had a fab time. Check in was a nuisance as we arrived after 10 pm due to a delay. The doors were locked, nobody was answering the door bell and the help phone number attached to the window was just ringing out. Some other guests eventually returned and let us in. At that point we were prepared to crash in the empty lobby, when a night porter suddenly appeared and told us that we should have used the code sent to us to gain access and access our room key. As you probably can guess, we received no code from the hotel or the tour operator. No worries.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable for two. All the facilities worked. Breakfast was a bit limited but we found something that worked for us.
This hotel is in the city but 20 minutes walk to the centre hotspots. That suited us. It is a quiet corner with enough little bars and corner shops close by.
Top for us were the staff who were super friendly at all times and made for a happy vibe when returning from a hot day of sightseeing.
Top tip: get familiar with the metro, trams and buses. It will make your trip a whole lot easier.

An excellent experience. Large room, quiet, good air conditioning.
