Nice hotel somewhat off the beaten path and yet central
A beautiful hotel in a direct location to Heldenplatz. Old walls, but well renovated from the inside and equipped with good air conditioning. Very friendly staff and the rooms are functionally furnished. The towels could certainly be changed a bit more frequently within a week. In return, good and free Wi-Fi and the huge TV also had German-language channels fed in. Breakfast was also fine. They could still work on the coffee, but that is, as is well known, a matter of taste. The location of the hotel is quiet, but only 3 minutes away from 2 stops of the M1 and in 10 minutes you are then at Deak ter. So quiet and yet centrally located. But what is most important, the beds are decent, not saggy and I was able to sleep well there.

Es freut uns sehr, dass Sie den historischen Charme unseres Hauses, die renovierten Innenräume, den Komfort Ihres Zimmers und insbesondere die Freundlichkeit unseres Teams positiv hervorgehoben haben. Besonders schön ist für uns auch, dass Sie die Qualität und den Komfort des Bettes erwähnt haben – denn erholsamer Schlaf gehört für uns zu den wichtigsten Voraussetzungen für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt.
Bezüglich des Handtuchwechsels möchten wir gerne ergänzen, dass unsere Handtücher standardmäßig alle drei Tage automatisch gewechselt werden. Sollten unsere Gäste einen häufigeren Wechsel wünschen, genügt es, die benutzten Handtücher auf dem Badezimmerboden zu hinterlassen; unser Housekeeping-Team ersetzt sie dann selbstverständlich durch frische Handtücher. Ein entsprechender Hinweis befindet sich auch im Badezimmer. Wir bedauern, wenn dieser während Ihres Aufenthalts Ihrer Aufmerksamkeit entgangen ist.
Vielen Dank auch für Ihre Anmerkung zum Kaffee. Wie Sie selbst treffend schreiben, spielt hierbei natürlich auch der persönliche Geschmack eine große Rolle – dennoch nehmen wir auch solche Hinweise gerne auf.
Umso mehr freut es uns, dass Sie unsere ruhige und zugleich verkehrsgünstige Lage, das kostenfreie WLAN sowie die deutschsprachigen Fernsehsender als weitere Pluspunkte empfunden haben.

The room was very clean, though a bit small; the staff members were amazingly helpful; breakfast was excellent - both plentiful and tasty.

Very clean hotel 35min from the centre
really between a 3 and 4
Very clean hotel and rooms. great shower although we had no hot water one morning. The cistern on our toilet had to stopped otherwise water continued.
The restaurant manager was a star and very helpful.
Breakfast was ok
Other staff were either good or indifferent.
The hotel is 35-40 min walk from the centre but underground and bus links are fantastic and the walk is not too bad.

Very clean hotel and rooms, excellent shower, ok breakfast some staff very good (the restaurant manager was supper) others ok. We had an issue with hot water during our stay.
