Clean hotel and fabulous location
If I can make a small note to the structure to improve, bidet towels were not provided (probably Venice is frequented by many foreigners) and I would add some towel rack

highly recommended
Our room was very clean, the mattress well hard (as I like it), the bathroom spacious, water hot with proper pressure, electric hand wash heating. It was really cold outside, but the heating in the room easily managed to heat up completely really cuddly. There is even a fridge in the room. Air conditioning is also available ... we don't know if it works.
We were in 1. Floor - it was quiet (windows closed), maybe in the room a little dark.
We even received a kettle with tea/coffee, which we enjoyed very much - viiiiieeeeelen Thanks !!!
On our next stay in Venice I would book here again - highly recommended.

Nice Hotel, Great Location!
Check-in is done at their sister hotel, The Hotel Bernardi which is a short distance from Leonard. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until nearly 1am, thank you Asif for waiting for us and taking us to our room in the dark of night. We didn't have breakfast included and tbh, going back to the Bernardi to get a basic continental breakfast would not have been worth it given the many great eateries nearby.
The location is convenient, near Fondamenta Nove ferry terminals which give easy access to the airport and islands. It's a short 10min walk to Rialto Bridge from the hotel (be sure to try the gelato at SUSO along the way - amazing) and is far enough away to be out of the tourist hustle & bustle.
My only criticism is the pushy cleaning service. After that first late night, we were woken up at 10am to a cleaner walking into our room without knocking! The following day, a similar incident but they knocked first at least. On our check-out day, we started getting harassed at 9am, again at 9.45am (check out is 10.30am) and a final one just entered at 10am without knocking who I immediately told to leave (I was in the midst of dressing my disabled child who was distressed from the constant invasion).
The staff the hotel Bernardi were all very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage in their breakfast room while we enjoyed our final day. Overall it was a nice stay, I'd return again but would hope the cleaners would be less intrusive.
