Disgusting

The room is in a building kept in terrible condition with plaster falling off and old furniture thrown in disarray at the entrance; in the room there are stained bedspreads and a bathroom shared with 3 rooms, so there are endless lines with the other guests; the shower is in embarrassing condition, I refused to use it. Air conditioner with a towel underneath for internal leaks, unpleasant odors at night coming from the air conditioner or sewage. I hope I didn't catch Legionnaires' disease or other illnesses. A nightmare, the only positive thing is the location near the station, but it should be shut down by the health authorities, it is also a bad calling card for the city.

Good for short stays.

Seeing other reviews we expected much worse. I think you should go with a different mindset to this type of accommodation and not expect great luxuries or amenities. We stayed in the attic, which was quite nice, with private bathroom. Of course, we were told not to use the shower much as it leaked moisture in the rooms below... I do think that is something to try to solve, because I imagine that many of the reviews come from people who have stayed in these rooms. But the loft is spacious and clean if you're not your typical cleaning maniac. The infrastructure feels worn and old, but on the island of Venice all the buildings are in a similar condition, so if you want to be able to walk everywhere without paying an exorbitant price for the accommodation, is what there is. Regarding the concierge/manager/owner, the same... He is a gentleman who feels at home, because he lives on one of the floors of the building, and does not treat you with the rigor or formality of a hotel, but we did not think he was a bad person. Yes, we were disturbed that, to communicate that the hot water had been spoiled (it was solved the next day), he used his key to enter our room with us inside. Although he knocked on the door, he didn't wait for us to open it and he came in. Taking these details away, if you are looking for practicality and do not need great luxuries, at least in the attic, is fine.

A complete nightmare

“A complete nightmare. The hotel is so dirty and rundown that it looks abandoned. The rooms are impossible to use — noisy, uncomfortable, and absolutely disgusting. The owner is one of the worst I have ever encountered: rude, vulgar, and totally incapable of treating guests with even a minimum of respect. I have no idea how someone like this can still work with the public. This place can ruin an entire trip.”

Hi, we just check out this morning from room 101, under the reservation of Orisa Borges.
Since then we realise that we must have left a necklace, a necklace that is not worth much but has a big sentimental value due to be a family necklace. I think it must be near the desck, on it or must have fallen from there, sinse it was there the last time we saw it. The necklace is the one in the picture.
