Excellent and central

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Very bright spacious room with three windows and a balcony. Nothing was missing. Breakfast available but we did not use it.
The balcony of our room overlooked the Roman arch. Piazza Unità d’Italia was just a few steps away as was the Roman theater. Located in the Cavana district, a place of nightlife and gathering of young people. Very close to a paid car park.

Gentile Elisa, Grazie mille per la splendida recensione! Siamo davvero felici che abbiate apprezzato la posizione centrale, la luminosità e l’ampiezza della camera, così come la vista sull’arco romano — è uno dei dettagli che rende il soggiorno ancora più speciale.
Ci fa piacere sapere che avete trovato tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole e che la vicinanza ai principali punti di interesse e alla vivace atmosfera del quartiere abbia contribuito positivamente alla vostra esperienza.

good location in the city centre

very good location, very close to Piazza Unità d'Italia and the castle. It has no parking, but it is close to the underground paid parking (with 15% discount). to get there you have to climb about fifty steps. Breakfast is optional and the dedicated room has only 2 tables... The closet had hangers only for jackets and shirts (not for pants) and no drawer. the reception is manned from 7.30 to 12 and from 14 to 18. to enter the hotel and the room you use the key card. clean and spacious bathroom, in the shower cubicle lacks support for soap. friendly and helpful staff. good room cleaning service

No CHECKIN possibility after 19:00!

Attention: Check-in after 19:00 is not possible without exception!!!! We 2 girls were on the bikes and at 19:15 nobody took off! Only after 3. Call was made and it was opened to us that we now had no room and that this was our fault, whether by bike or car. A cheek in times when self-checkin is the order of the day! Not even a refund was offered! This “service” is unbearable and therefore this hotel absolutely unrecommended!

Family outing

Hotel located behind Piazza dell Unification of Italy, convenient parking fee two minutes, spacious and clean rooms, large bathroom with shower (you need are a small floor inside the shower to put something), good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff, recommended

Clean and comfortable - excellent value for the money. Very convenient location.

The outside of this hotel does not look in any way 'fancy' - far from it, but we found it to be perfect for our needs. Good value was important to us, and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious, clean and fresh, and the bathroom was airy. Whilst a 'one-star' hotel is not going to offer luxury, we were very happy with the comfortable bed, TV, and the little fridge (with a soft-drink mini-bar) was a welcome bonus.
We didn't opt to have breakfast in the hotel, as it's clearly a basic enough choice, in an area of the small lobby, but instead ate in a nearby cafe. Having said that, it's possible that the coffee and pastries at the hotel breakfast were every bit as good as those elsewhere.
The 'view' from our room was em...minimal. We were facing onto (a very pleasant) wall and window of a church, but we could see a bit more of the sky if we leaned out of the window. However, we had 3 lovely big windows - including one in the bathroom, and the area, despite being quite central, was quiet and we slept well on all 3 nights.
The staff were lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Hotel All'Arco again. The lift to our room was small enough - the sign said 'max 4 persons', but we think perhaps the persons in Trieste must be quite slim - especially if also bringing luggage in the lift!
