Seafront living room with spectacular views from the terrace of the Sicilian coast and Aeolian Islands
24/29 September 2024. Pleasant relaxing stay, pampered by the attention and availability of Antonella and Paola and the goodness of their homemade cakes, as well as genuine jams prepared with typical local products, all enjoyed on the panoramic terrace facing the sea!

B&B NOT RECOMMENDED
We stayed 4 nights at the Aeneid booking directly the structure. Room in line with expectations with comfortable bathroom and without minibar; Two fridges are located in the lobby and are available to all guests with obvious difficulty in recognizing the own bottle.
Cleaning Insufficient; we had to insist with the owner because after two days she did not want to clean and rearrange the room nor change at least the bathroom linen (according to her these services are provided every 3 days !!!!!!!) .
Terrace with beautiful views but abandoned to neglect and in which there was a single clothesline available to all rooms.
Bad breakfast consisting only of coffee / cappuccino and a croissant ; yogurt served at the discretion of the structure ; Breakfast is served in the adjacent lido on tables not cleaned, without tablecloths or plates, on a woven straw underplate hygienically unsuitable; Breakfast time not before 8.30 (inadmissible for those who must go out for excursions or visits) ; Moreover, on the last day at 9.00 there were not even tables ready because , the night before there had been an evening at the lido resulting in the extension of all hours.
In all this the owner never bothered to inquire about our stay because she probably knew our dissatisfaction.
At check-out the key collection delegated it to one of his collaborators and greeted us remotely with a simple show of hands.

Buona sera Gent.ssimo Sig.Mormanno,posto che la sottoscritta Alviano Rosita, nonché titolare della struttura,non la conosce,volevo chiarire alcuni punti in merito alla pessima descrizione che ha fatto sulla mia struttura.Spero di poter rispondere in maniera esaustiva ad ogni sua precisazione
1 I frigobar erano precedentemente in dotazione in ogni camera,purtroppo per colpa di ospiti "maleducati"che si sono serviti degli stessi in maniera inappropriata,con l'inserimento di alimenti maleodoranti ,cipolle,pizze casse di birra ecc ,rendendo le camere inaccessibili per giorni,ne abbiamo abolito l'utilizzo .
2 Non conosco le sue abitudini ma se si aspettava di trovare un servizio biancheria da hotel a 5 stelle le rammento che trattasi di un B&b con tariffe che variano da 40 a 50€ a persona con cambio biancheria ogni 3 GG e servizio cortesia,parcheggio e colazione inclusi.(Cosa che peraltro è stata chiaramente specificata)
3 Lo stendino (come lo chiama lei) è stato messo in via eccezionale perché nella mia struttura non è ammissibile godere di un terrazzo panoramico di 200mq fronte mare ed essere attorniato da stendini (secondo lei 7uno a camera,) insieme ad indumenti personali di almeno 25/30 persone.Almeno non in questa attività.La colazione (inclusa sempre in quel prezzo) le è stata servita a tavolo in una struttura sul mare ,se avesse richiesto dei manicaretti avremmo sicuramente cercato di soddisfare le sue esigenze e mi sembra eccessivo screditare una struttura se per un giorno abbiamo tardato di mezz'ora per aver chiuso alle 6 del mattino.Il problema sa qual'é?Che se ci sono delle mancanze e disservizi sarebbe più educato parlarne subito e con il diretto interessato.A volte essere troppo permissivi consente di fornire strumenti controproducenti.

Run away
I felt like I was living a horror movie; Mrs. Rosita provides only the keys to the room and not the door of the structure. Finding myself alone in a very large structure with three floors, two of them ruined, in which anyone could enter and exit, made me freeze inside; the only thing that divided me from the outside world was a very banal wooden door that we all have in the house to close a room, which yes, I could lock, but also that anyone with a punch would open!
I emphasize that the structure is very large and when I arrived it was completely desolate: we did not meet any other vacationer and none of the staff. In fact, Mrs. Rosita, for her convenience, certainly not for my choice, opted for an online check-in, that is, she gave me instructions via whatsapp to reach the room, room where I would find the keys (perhaps the only appropriate thing is the name of the hotel, which at this point more than Aeneid I would call Shining).
Upon entering the room I found myself with an air conditioner that shot mold, as it had not been cleaned inside (see photo).
I immediately called the owner who did not answer me and having in the evening a wedding, I picked up and went to another structure. In the evening the owner made herself heard (I made the complaint at lunchtime), but by now I was unable to listen to her.
The next day I went to the structure and the conversation reached stellar levels of absurdity; the keys to the door he did not want to give me because, according to him, some tourists made the duplicate of the key, but I could be calm because the area was video-surveillance and we are not in Beirut.... but I think, I would not be wrong, that even in Beirut they lock the front door. The more he talked, the more he seemed to be doing me a favor to do his job, already paid for by booking.
It took very little: be present in person at check-in (he told me I had to understand that I had arrived on a Sunday), check that I had no problems with the room and above all give me the keys to the door!
I did not choose to camp outdoors and all that I wrote are not things that can be evaluated by a booking site; the only word I have is scam!
I hope booking and the owner give me the full amount back. If this does not happen and others like me have been scammed without getting their money back, they can contact me; we can team up and act legally.
I attach photos, also of the second access to the structure without a gate and delimited by a single rope "but the area is video surveillance stay serene" quote Rosita!

Buona sera signora diciamo che la sua analitica descrizione è parecchio lontana dal vero,se non per il condizionatore che è stato prontamente pulito e per mostrarle ancora di più la nostra disponibilità, le mie dipendenti che" ripeto"si sono recate in struttura appositamente per lei, per fornirle unaltra camera fare un check insieme, le hanno chiesto di verificarne la pulizia e l'efficienza .Non mi voglio soffermare su ogni singola frase a dir poco offensiva e fuorviante ma lei la camera l'ha visionata Lo stesso giorno (prima del matrimonio)e non potendo (questa volta)obiettare sulla camera assegnata,ha iniziato a mostrare un atteggiamento a dir poco preoccupante,facendomi capire a chiare lettere che aveva subito un fortissimo trauma e il vedere la porta d'ingresso al piano terreno(il b&b è al secondo piano) aperta non la faceva stare tranquilla,senza scendere nei minimi particolari,la inviterei ad affrontare il vero problema che la affligge e che purtroppo non risolverà prendendosela con chiunque le venga di fronte,le ricordo che ha avuto uno sfogo di pianto e chi le sta accanto,il suo ragazzo mi ha chiaramente detto che non la pensava allo stesso modo .Provo compassione e mi auguro che possa trovare la sua serenità...PS la camera che tanto ha denigrato l'ha usata tutto il pomeriggio prima del matrimonio e prima di adarsene,mi ha chiesto i soldi indietro per una prenotazione che avrei potuto benissimo onorare,mi sono rifiutata e lei non ottenendo i soldi,ha cercato di arrecare un danno alla mia struttura.Questo in gergo tecnico si chiama in altro modo e lei lo sa bene...detto questo le auguro solo di stare bene altrimenti non starà bene con nessuno

Zero professionalism
Structure with great potential but badly managed.
Dilapidated place, shame because it could offer better, has a nice terrace overlooking the sea.
Obsolete rooms, reception abandoned to fend for absent staff, unkept woodland style garden used as a dump for objects no longer in use.
Parking required there was not.
The lady immediately contacted several times by phone never answered.

Buona sera,sono la titolare della struttura,dal suo profilo si evince bene poco di chi possa essere ,non vorrei avere a che fare come un signore che ha prontamente prenotato su booking, ha fatto una recensione molto similare a questa l'unica differenza (forse) è che non sia mai arrivato..ancora lo stiamo aspettando.Comunque mi faccia sapere chi è,il numero della sua prenotazione per risalire a ciò che è stata la sua esperienza e poi ne riparliamo.Grazie

Rather different from the websites....
Overall an underwhelming experience.
The good....... Balcony area excellent to sit and enjoy the cool air in the evening. Bathroom very well equipped. Never had any parking problems. Staff friendly. Good dining options nearby.
The poor.... The whole area (not Eneide) is rather scruffy and run down. lots of rubbish all over place. Not advertised that access any part of the property requires a steep climb up 4 flights of stairs (no lift). No A/C in public areas so very hot and stuffy ( though A/C worked OK in room) . Breakfast very disappointing. Just packet industrial bread and pastries. Plus yogurt. Tea coffee often luke warm. No eggs, meats or cheese. Despite it being the last few days of June, the 'private beach' was not open nor was the adjoining restaurant on any of our 4 days there. Had to avail ourselves (by paying) of the service of the lido/cafe next door.
Would not recommend if you are looking for relaxing beach holiday and/or disabled or find climbing tricky.
