Scammers

The management is a total joke. They asked for a payment not through booking.com like it is listed in their property policy, but to send them via bank transfer on a private IBAN. As well they asked me to send them pictures of my passport and ID card on WhatsApp, which I all refused. After trying to cancel the booking since I didn't feel safe booking with them, they charged me 50% of the booking plus 57e for cancellation. This property has a good scam working out for them, and they still didn't refund my money. When talking to their costumer service, they are really rude and they are answering in a totally unprofessional manner. Stay away from this property, since I am not the only one who was scammed by them. Totally unsafe, extremely unprofessional. That's not how you should run a business.

flight from Palermo airport at 1:30 a.m., I booked this hotel through Booking. It was business as usual: the price was 57 euros, business as usual. After seeing the reservation confirmed, I calmly continued to relax at Mondello Beach that morning. Arriving in the afternoonat the address listed in Booking, I saw a message from a hotel representative requesting an additional deposit of 32 euros. It is unclear what exactly this deposit includes and why it was not mentioned at the time of booking. It is also unclear what would cover this deposit of 32 euros. Before paying, not a word about the deposit was in the booking description.Without this deposit I could not have checked into this hotel. The Booking policy says avoid suspicious activity. How do I detect suspicious activity? After all, arriving at the address indicated in the Booking, after payment, when a deposit is required, is suspicious activity. It should be noted that in the United States, where a deposit is common practice when checking into a hotel, no deposit is required when booking through Booking. I have never before encountered a deposit requirement when booking through Booking.com in the EU. I ended up canceling and booking a hotel nearby. I was sent a code from the keybox and it took me two minutes to check in without any deposits. It is not clear why Booking cooperates with hotels in this way. I later found reviews where people made a deposit but never checked in. It is not clear why Booking cooperates with the apartment in this way. This spoils the overall impression of using the Booking platform. Twelve days later, I still haven't received a refund.

AVOID!!

Catastrophic experience. We had reserved and paid for our entire stay at "Palermo Central." Despite this, the establishment later demanded 50% of the amount for additional nights within 24 hours, which is already incomprehensible since everything had been settled.
Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at 10:02 PM instead of 10:00 PM at the latest. Only two minutes late. Once on site: no assistance, no one at the reception, no one answered the intercom. After several attempts, we finally managed to reach someone by message who simply informed us that it was impossible to stay on site due to our "delay."
The next morning, our reservation for the entire stay had been canceled without any solution offered. We found ourselves at 18 years old, in the middle of the night, without accommodation in a city we did not know.
No professionalism, no humanity, no understanding of the situation. Treating travelers this way is unacceptable. I strongly advise against this establishment.

LEAK!!!

Just like the comments same scenario cancellation of the resa by booking. Palermo takes over and is obliged to pay cash to a machine. No physical or even verbal contact with the owner
We were to be accommodated at palermo central rue machiavelli and are relegated to another place.
Surprise!! nothing to do with the beautiful photos of Palermo Central. The kitchen is in a deplorable state. Kitchenware 3 cups for 4 insufficient number of cutlery for 4. Cancer ensured by the bottom of the stoves. No Pan.... I'm going on.
Fridge dirty freezer invaded by ice from top to bottom. Hood unspeakable..
The bedding is good but the bed linen does not seem clean as well as the towels that deserve to be replaced.
A text to the owner or manager that same evening was effective since the next morning cleaning replacement of utensils... was carried out.
The apartment would require a great overall refreshment
In the current state I absolutely do not recommend!! Too bad the potential that could delight the guests
When you go into this business you must first and foremost satisfy your customers and not think that profit!! Good Hearing!!!!
