Stay in Naples with family. Wonderful welcome and excellent and special lunch at the bistro!

I would like to express my total gratitude for the kindness and special welcome of Mr. Graziani, the lady in charge of the Concierge and all the
Personal. Perfect location, exquisite, welcoming bistro. Well done again!

Grazie mille per il suo feedback. Siamo felici che abbia apprezzato la nostra location, la nostra ospitalità, il nostro Bistrot dove ha fatto colazione, e dove si può gustare una cucina tradizionale napoletana. Che dirle? L'aspettiamo a braccia aperte la prossima volta. Grazie di cuore .

No elevator. The owner removes the reviews they don't like on Google. That's why there's no cloud in the last 5 months

Second floor without elevator. When I arrived it was closed and there was no one, despite advising the arrival time. I called and came in five minutes. Take your bags to the bottom of the stairs. Then the two staircase floors are all yours. He looks lonely and abandoned.

You feel at home

Nice and warm place in the historical center of Naples, near quartiere degli spagnoli.
The host, Giuseppe, a splendid person, the rooms are wide end from the terraces you can see all Piazza Dante.
The surprise was that Giuseppe is a real Neapolitan chef and his plates fantastic.
A superb treatment received.......hope to be back soon!

Decent stay

Positives of the establishment itself:
Quirky. Historic. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure given age of building. Fluffy towels. AC. Easy check in/out. Pleasant and accommodating staff.
Suggested areas of improvement for the establishment itself:
Entrance/bottom of stairway could be tidied up a bit - does not give a good first impression.
Noisy fridge in bedroom (had to unplug it - could be replaced or fixed).
Improve tea and coffee facilities in room e.g. update appliances, and present the tea, coffee and sugar sachets in a more appealing manner (e.g. in closed boxes? They kind of look as if they have been lying there for a while exposed ..)
Replace the generic family bottles of soap and shower gel in the bathroom with a bathroom tray containing a selection of mini hair and body products.
Positives of the location:
Excellent as it is next to: old town, Metro, Red Bus tour bus stop, and archaeological museum.
Pharmacies, ATMs, taxi rank, bars, cafes and restaurants and other amenities are also within the immediate vicinity.
Negatives of the location:
NOISE. The Piazza Dante is a hub of activity day AND night. Lots of people noise especially on Friday and Saturday nights in the piazza. While the windows of the property keep most of the disruption at bay, we still had issues sleeping.
Persistent traffic and vehicle noise is incessant throughout Naples e.g. car horn beeping, sirens, mopeds revving. Piazza Dante is not immune to this unfortunately.
General about Naples:
Do not take a taxi without agreeing a price.
Always get a receipt when you pay for dinner or lunch.
Don't bother with the Christmas model area - not authentic.
Be prepared for hoards of people and noise.
Naples is not a pretty city.
If you go to Capri, also be prepared for hoards of people and rip off prices e.g. 18e for a bottle of Peroni and a still water by the harbour ...... 25e to take a taxi to the town when the funiculare is only 2e. Expensive shops.

Perfect classic room

The location is perfect in Naples, historic center, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room has a balcony overlooking the square, very spacious and clean. Classic decoration in a very charming building. You can have a complimentary coffee or tea.
