What an elegant villa with big and comfortable rooms
We stayed in Villa Corti one night. The place is beautiful and clean. The view from the room on Como lake and city is amazing. The garden is big and nice. The host is perfect. I really recommend staying there

This accommodation is simply no longer sustainable in 2025 ...
It is an old, older villa, which also had the bad luck that the highway leads directly under the house, which is why the noise of the passing vehicles is a constant companion of the stay. However, the unkempt overall condition of the house is the responsibility of the current operators. What a gem you could make of this old villa. Instead, you will find worn-out rooms, unkempt outdoor facilities and completely outdated and worn-out sanitary facilities that are simply no longer reasonable in 2025. The highlight of these inadequacies is the fact that during our stay in the cupboard under the sink we had to find the private hygiene items of whomever.
Private parking is available. The approach to the house takes getting used to and very narrow. Two oncoming vehicles already have to manoeuvre in some places. The location at the top of the mountain allows the biggest advantage of the house, namely the view of Lake Como up to the other side of the lake with the mountain railway.
The self-description refers to a dining room, but - apart from breakfast - no food is offered. Instead, you are referred to a pizza Service whose products are simply difficult to enjoy. The bottle of red wine of the house for € 25,00 is already calculated almost cheekily. The housewife is striving and despite all odds always friendly.
Overall, we both left with the certainty of NEVER staying here again.

Villa with great views, nothing more!
We were passing through and spent a night here. The only thing the villa has to offer is the great view of Como. The room, bed and cleanliness were ok. Pros: Fans in the room, because by the noise of the motorway underneath, which many other writers have already complained:inside me, sleeping with an open tie is practically not possible. The hammer was the bad breakfast! Absolutely minimalist, in terms of quantity and quality. Thermos coffee, watery O-juice, no cheese, no sausage, dead-boiled hard eggs, nothing fresh! Staff were none visible, nothing was replenished or cleared. Price/performance, but above all the passion for a hotel business, leave a lot to be desired here. Not recommended!

Very loud and very unfriendly.
We cannot recommend this accommodation. We stayed here for one night and the location is very nice. However, this accommodation is very, very noisy because of the motorway running underneath. You can't sleep with the window open at night. Secondly, the host is very, very unfriendly. After calling and ringing several times, we found no one there, so we went into the house and discovered a room key with a bill for me. We then went to look for the room. After a while, an older man appeared who spoke a little English and immediately insulted us for being alone in the house. The way he addressed guests was very unsuitable. Breakfast consists of weak coffee in a thermos flask and wrapped croissants and some cake. There is no one there to talk to. Secondly, you can only check in at this accommodation between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., which is not clear beforehand. In addition, the bathroom is not in the room, but you have to go through the hallway, which was not agreed upon beforehand. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. It is too loud, the host is extremely unfriendly and everything is a bit worn and run down.

Private guesthouse a few kilometers outside of Como
The historic villa is located a few kilometers outside of Como on a hill. The access is somewhat difficult. Background noise from the motorway in the valley, but this is almost completely reduced by double-glazed windows. It is a romantic house that is almost 200 years old (estimated). Private rooms of various sizes but without service. Beautiful view.
