Passed with flying colors!

I recommend this b&b to those looking for a simple solution, who don't want to spend too much and who care above all about the location. It is practically located in the historic center and you can reach everything on foot! The b&b is housed in an apartment, our room was minimal but large and with all comforts, also very clean. Nice bathroom with built-in shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. I would stay here again!

Bit misleading

Visited la manta and it is perfect! The location is ideal for walking to the beach (pia maria is 2.5 miles away ), and the old town. The hotel is very clean and the lady is very friendly. Slightly misleading because breakfast is not available. We had a fridge in the room so made croissants jam, yoghurt and fresh juice each day (and fresh coffee bought from McDonald's down the road ). The supermarket euro spin is very cheap and we bought plastic cutlery so were able to make a sandwich to take to the beach. The bus stop to get to the airport is near the cafe at the top of the park nearby (photo provided ). The best food was also round the corner and a lot cheaper than in the old town (pic also provided ) Theres a local market each Wednesday worth visiting

Very beautiful and clean room close to the center

The La Manta guest house has very nice rooms. The location is very close to the center, it is just a short distance by foot. The name bed and breakfast is a bit misleading, as there is no breakfast at all, but we knew that before we booked. The parking can be a bit tricky aswell, as there is not much space in front of the accommodation. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms where beautiful and clean, the bathrooms too, the staff was friendly and the price is good. We would stay at the La Mante guest house again!

Nice place in a good location

The place is very well located, near the main places but in a quiet street which in Italy is something to be grateful for :)
The B&B is a in a building, is kind of a shared flat, there are few rooms and a shared bathroom. All was clean. The room was clean, AC worked perfectly.
The only thing we did not like it was the breakfast. I know that is free, but all the things packed in plastic don't give a good impression. Apart from that, the place is fine. And the staff is friendly.

Great location

Breakfast consists of biscuits, packet toast slices and a coffee machine!! Location is superb though, balcony is very spacious but shower wasn't that hot. We arrived earlier than 2pm so make sure you pre arrange this as we were trying to call to get in and eventually her niece let us leave our bags and then that was it for the weekend we never saw the owner/manager/anyone again. Strange! This b&b is great value for money and less than a five minute walk to the airport bus stop and the centre of Alghero! Would stay again.
