Experience to recommend. Beb central and very convenient to reach promenade and center. Cleanliness and courtesy are the masters. Varied breakfast with sweet and savory. Congratulations to Luigi for his kindness and availability. See you next, Raffaella Michele and Alice

Nullissime

I reserved a room about 6 months ago through Booking. 2 weeks before departure, I confirmed my reservation. Bad surprise, the day before departure, I received a cancellation email!!! Taken by surprise, I wanted to reserve, in a hurry, another room. I (me or the site??) would have got the date wrong and would have booked for the day before my arrival. I saw the error instantly and immediately emailed and called the hotel to report the error. The employee told me there was no problem changing and reserving on the date that suited me. Phew! Except that 15 minutes later, I received an email saying the opposite. I call them back and ask them to cancel and refund me; They tell me that Booking will reimburse me. I call Booking who tells me it’s the hotel. Brief ! ping pong all day long. I called Booking again, a nice lady reassured me by saying "don't worry, I will take care of canceling the reservation and you will receive the refund, you don't have to do anything". Great ! except that, 10 minutes later, I received an email telling me the opposite. I called back, I found another nice lady who told me like her colleague "don't worry....". “Are you sure, because...?” “Yes, count on me.” In fact, it's just nonsense!!! I have never had a refund, nor a response to the 1000 emails I have sent since. Worse, my conversation was deleted from my Booking customer account.

Ok but far from perfect!

Things we liked: The location was excellent, very central. B&B was clean and bed comfortable. It looks like the pictures (shower very small).
Things we disliked:
1)Never met or spoke to owner since arrival, we stayed 4 nights.
2)Breakfast mediocre, it is a cold buffet (cold eggs and meat), meat and cheese should be separate for vegetarians (I had yoghurt and cereal every day because of this). Breakfast runs out and is not replenished, so get there early.
3)There was construction in building, extremely noisy from approx 7:30 am (jack hammers, drills, etc) not ideal for anyone with late flight or who would like to sleep in a little.
4) The thing that really bothered us was our room was not serviced on our second last day. We emailed the owner requesting toilet paper and clean towels but had zero response. The towels are very old and stained, they would only get one use because they stink after that. Had to use hair dryer to dry off!!! This apartment is more like an Air BnB as opposed to a BnB.

Nice place

Good place,very clean(daily cleaning and changing the towels),nice owner Luigi, near centre,beach, good continental breakfast, bottle of wine for invitation,good price.Sun umbrella,cofee,tea, bottle of water in the room,Parking on the street.We spent nice time here.
