Francesco is a very nice hist and he serves a great breakfast with sweets and good italian coffee.
He explained everything about Acireale and the surroundings.
His recommondations about 2 very inexpensive good restaurants were very helpfully.
He found also a safe place for my bike dzring the night

The structure needs to be modernised

I did not find what there was on the site, all nice and tidy, fabulous breakfast, although there was courtesy of both the lady and the owner I was also disappointed of the rooms it would take a nice renovation, it's okay to stay for one night, more there are the necessary amenities

Very well.

B & B perfectly located in the center of Acireale, within walking distance of all attractions. The room is air conditioned and also has a fan. There was also a small kitchen on the terrace but sometimes it was too hot to use it in the daytime. A good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the old town is included, served by a very thoughtful lady. Giulio who welcomed us was very kind and attentive to all our questions. We were very happy with the stay.

A hidden gem of a B&B in a town worth visiting

We only stayed there one night, but loved both the B&B and the town of Acireale. Al 22 B&B is a beautiful little B&B with a fantastic roof top terrace (where breakfast is served when it is warm and sunny), nicely decorated and comfortable rooms, and very friendly and helpful owners. We were greeted warmly and given some very helpful tips on places to visit in the vicinity (like Castel Mola). Moreover we just loved Acireale, not touristy at all, authentically Italian, full of beautiful churches and buildings (although some of them are quite desolate, but maybe that adds to the charm).
The location of both the B&B within the town and the town within the area is great: about 30min to famous Taormina, and equally about 30min to the access road to Mt. Etna. When traveling by car, just make sure you have good directions to the B&B, as the oneway system in central Acireale is really tricky! Despite knowing more or less where the B&B was located it took us 30min of circling just to be able to find the right one ways leading there. The effort was well worth it!
We can highly recommend both the town and the B&B, and if ever coming back to Sicily we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent accommodation

We stayed in AL 22 B&B for a week, enjoying their beautifully decorated house, two cosy rooms, charming terrace, good breakfast... We were happy to meet our welcoming host, ploite and helpful housemaid, friendly owner's son and people in Acireale! Anytime to go back...
